    Threading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threading_(epilation)

I personally go for waxing, and only twice a year haha. I do maintenance inbetween and just get them re-shaped when needed!
  • oh ok, not so bad as i'd imagined..

    I've been Money Tipped!
right, i told you im hopeless with all things make-up..eyebrow threading?? sounds gross, but can soemone explain in a patronising voice?! :S

and lost, eccentric dressing is the way forward!

i know, but the two girls im going with are sooo skinny (i can dream lol), think size 6 / 8..and with the figures for a bikini, so i, in comparison get to be the whale-like friend :(

PF, I was that slim when I met DH, he says he longed to feed me from the moment he saw me. He said I looked like a beautiful but very ill and unloved person. for many, many, many women 6 is far too small. Lollipops, tadpoles...look at them objectively.

You are not whale like. Now, stop talking yourself into a bad day.

I went to spa last year with DH, and I'm a whale...bigger than you ATM, and there were people bigger than me there. I wore, on advice from you lot, a pink swimsuit and took a sarong for confidence, but wore the robe between rooms and at lunch. My advice? enjoy it. Stick conditioner in your hair in the steam rooms and don't worry what you look like while there. Take something efortless glam to leave in, I wore a mazi dress and flats and a cardi, and a wrap and HUGE sunnies...in summer I'd have gone diamante flip flops.

the people tryin to keep their makeup on and with jewelery on looked like they were having less fun than DH and I....(we did handstands in the pool like kids when it was just us. :))

  • I'm knackered. Work ended up being 8pm-1am then back in 5am-9am. Phew. Did get a meal out, a gorgeous bunch of flowers and chocs for it tho so that was a nice thank you.

On the way home I picked up my now repaired mobile... hurray for being connected again. Grabbed a breakfast in Debenhams as I had a few pounds left on a gift card and felt I needed it. Then I went to New Look and got 3 bargain !!!!!cat dresses. They are not my usual style but I love them all. Took 4 into the changing room and bought 3, not bad, would have bought the 4th as well if it wasn't quite so clingy.

Going to catch up on here and blogs then off for a nap as I have a health assesment this afternoon.
  • Hahah Ive just done one of those inane quizzes on facbook this one is what Alice in Wonderland character are you? I got Mad Hatter lol

I quite fancy getting my eyebrows threaded but I love plucking my own so have never quite got round to booking it.

Nici, you must be knackered! Hurrah for the new dresses though :)

Schuh have just emailed me a 5% off discount code, just for reviewing some shoes. How nice of them :D
  • There are some fab clips on you tube of threading. It's great, they only charge £5 where I go. I'm a reformed plucker Alex. I used to pluck mine until there was nothing left.
  • I always pluck mine...I like the idea of threading though but I could never leave mine to grow long enough to do it...I would end up with a monobrow!
