I'm just waiting for my online banking to update!

I have an outfit to buy tomorrow for a night out I'm going on next month. I'm climbing the walls with stress as I have to find something tomorrow!! (OH is bemused as to why - I have wardrobes full of clothes!!!) I'm having to travel over to Nottingham as the shops here in Leicester are rubbish - and being my size i dont have much to choose from as it is! :(

Wish me luck, ladies... think I might need it!!!

Good luck! Don't put too much pressure on yourself, it's harder to shop that way.

I can't sleep as I'm a bit worried about the docs tomorrow. I have a bulletpointed list so I remember to get everything in. Someone send me wake up vibes at 7am please. :) There is a skirt on ebay finishing at around 7.30 so that should help too.

Mentally making a list of things I need to complete outfits to make them perfect. And i'll do some charity shopping tomorrow as i'll be in town anyway. I'm talking to myself.. ahhh sleep dammit!

I don't really know what I want to do. If things go well it won't be until Dylan is at school full time so have got a couple of years to decide. Actually I've been thinking about homeschooling lately, hmmmm.
I really fancy training to do BF support professionally as it's so rewarding but don't know if I can bear any more study.
I'm just not very career driven anymore, my priorities have totally shifted and baby brain had eliminated any concentration and coherance I once had!

I've thought about home schooling but, being totally selfish, I need me time. Also both my children are very motivated when they are interested but when they aren't they both refuse to do it all! :mad:Sam can't write his name but can spell all the words they need to know in reception and he doesn't start school until September.
tv and xbox widows, you have my sympathy: mine is away Mon-thurs and I miss him so much.

My hubby is out 12 hours a day and is shattered in the evenings, by the time we've had dinner and boys are in bed, he goes to bed too as he has to be up early.

I'm not career focused anymore (not sure I ever have been) I'm not very good at working with other people anyway.

Today, I'm going to go to Hobby craft for ideas if I get sorted in time. Sam wants to bake so we are going to make Jammy Buns (only have basic ingredients in!) Tonight I'm going out for drink with my friend Rachael who makes nappy cakes and upcycles stuff so I am going to discuss business ideas with her. Hopefully my Alice pallette will arrive today (I forgot how slow Debenhams are- £4 for the longest delivery time ever) and I will get my eyebrows threaded today.

II'm still not looking at your links. I'll start on 1st March - it's so much quicker to read the thread!
  • I'm starting to be almost tempted by the Alice palette..
But, that said, the only time I put make-up on is sitting in traffic on the way to work, and it's not exaclty portable enough for that..

Having gone through my makeup case I've decided against the Alice palette, or at least, for now. If someone in my family got it for my birthday I'd be delighted but I probably have most of the colours in it, so it'd just sit around looking pretty!
  • I just don't think I'm make-up'y enough to use it..
Maybe I should set myself a challenge to wear more / be better with make-up, because at present it's just not something I bother with v often. Like I say, I usually pop on some foundation, eyeliner and mascara in the car ion the way to work..

Sounds like a good challenge to me :) I need to start doing my makeup nicely again, at one point I'd got quite good at it, and now I barely bother because it is all too much effort :o

Yep, that's a little challenge for March right there!

    My plan for today-
get out of PJs (at some point before midday!)
get a lift down to the post office when Mum goes to work this afternoon/pick up some more £1 tights (mum's treat :)) and nip to Tesco to get something foody for today.
come home and do course work; no stress today, I've found a couple of "easy" bits I can do that just involve research rather than writing, so I'm going to focus on those for what is left of this week and start afresh with the writing side of things next week *nods*...clearly this is just a bad concentration week.
  • Morning ladies!

Where is my Alice palette? I can't wait, I am usually too stingy to buy eyeshadow so I will actually use it!

Today I have made a mild effort with my clothes:
    - black mini body con (is that the right word? It is basically lycra) dress
    - pink cardi
    - maroon tights
    - black suede pixie-like boots
    - bracelet with black square "jewels"
    - horse on a chain necklace
    - pink framed spectacles
    - pink and cream flower hairslide
    - pearl studs

I am settling down to J Kyle with a cuppa. And avoiding college work! I am ahead of myself but I still feel guilty. Must be something in the air, DB.
