Ooh them buttons are fantastic! I'd nautical everything up. though I bought some iron on gold anchors for 40p about 2 years ago and have yet to do anything with them. :P

The dress I was watching on ebay has just shot up from £2 to above my budget with 23 minutes to go. I'm off to sulk now. :(

I don't really know what I want to do. If things go well it won't be until Dylan is at school full time so have got a couple of years to decide. Actually I've been thinking about homeschooling lately, hmmmm.
I really fancy training to do BF support professionally as it's so rewarding but don't know if I can bear any more study.
I'm just not very career driven anymore, my priorities have totally shifted and baby brain had eliminated any concentration and coherance I once had!

Im starting college full time in September Im half dreading it half excited. I know what you mean about baby brain I have it 3 fold! Ive always wanted to do midwifery but the places at uni are so limited so Im doing one year full time physcology with a view to either going onto a counseling degree or a social work degree....all going well I will be 39

  • Thoe buttons are fab :D

I'm getting off ebay now...There is quite a bit in my paypal account and if I don't stop looking I'll end up spending it all!
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Ohh Retro, that's exciting and terrifying at the same time. I'd like to do counselling or midwifery (that's defo out as I am needle phobic) but I think I want to work helping people (I know that sounds very "Miss World" but I really would!)
I've been watching those buttons all week. I lost patience and bought some repros at buy it now but I'd love these. I might bid if they don't get anny attention. but I can see myself going ott and becoming a crazy button lady.

I used to have a massive jar of my great grandma's victorian button collection, it was my favourite thing to play with when I was a kid! I wonder what happened to it..

Has anyone ever turned jeans in to a denim skirt? I have a nice pair with a hole in the knee that I don't want to throw out. It looks pretty simple but all the pictures on the how to look not as good as i want.

Gosh yes, about 7-8 years ago. I used a patch of really beatiful fabric in the little triangle which mght have other wise been a split...(I hope that skirt is still in my stored clothes, I'd forgotton all about it)

Oh yes I did. It did look a bit home made though and the join seam was a bit wonky. I overlapped my edges so I didn't have a triangle hole IYKWIM. It was OK but not as good as a proper skirt. I'm going to cut mine down to shorts this year I think.
