  • evening everyone,

I'm not going to even attempt to catch up on the chat in here since lunchtime.

Just got back from the college after having my hair done, they didn't have time to cut it (not to bothered as I only had it done 6 weeks ago) so just had it coloured and paid £10 :D very happy and very money saving.

    I wore:

Primark black skinny jeans, red vest top H&M, blue and white striped wrap top (Next via jumble sale) and uggs, not blog worthy at all!

I'm going to be away in London all weekend and then in liverpool Mon - Fri, I'm gonna miss this thread and all the blogs :(
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

Aw, Queen what a hair bargain. Pics?

You'll be missed! *dreads to think how much this thread will grow by then*

I remember when it was maybe one post from each of us a day,
not complaining though, as you girls have really kept me distracted and calm the past few weeks :o<3

Marzipan, I get very attatched to items of clothing and accessories as most things I own tend to have some kind of significance!

I get what you mean... some of the shoes were ones i wore when i went out in barcelona for an end of 6th form hol so it's good memories... they squash my toes and only cost about £6-8 in the first place though!

ooh.. maccaroons... i've never tried making those. one of those things i forget i like :o
Just finished off a very tasty carrot cake but the next baking session ought to be something healthier really!
  • daisy - it's currently wet and tied up cos they didn't have time to dry it, took the poor lad 2 hours just to put the colour on cos I've got so much hair...but it's pretty much the same as always, blue black :) pics will go on blog tomorrow

ooOOoo I've just realised that we've got a brand new thread :D

Re IC shoes. i think they look fab, but ...I feel to old for lots of them and I'm only thirty. But I love that shoes are available that are pretty and bright nd different. Make in the day (the uni student age girls start to yawn now...)..in the 90s shoes were often clumpy and mainly black, They were mother's type shoes and clumpy shoes or tarts shoes within budget and that was about it for everyday shoes for everyday people. It would have taken a brave person to wear IC shoes to work.

Although I feel we are a different sort of carbon copy environment now, still in fashion uniforms, things like this definitely help people like us, on normal budgets with limited skills: I couldn't make shoes, have more fun and creativity.

Speaking of creativity and breaking the mold I have bought red lipstick (to replace the one my dogs chewed christmas before last) nd a ...red blusher! I remember ditching red blusher when I was at university and I have been shades of peach coral and pink ever since. I'm always fairly adventurous with colour on my eyes, but I'm wanting to have a different look to pull put of the hat ...well cosmetics box...now and then.

edit: and I've just gone through my post and I have a new eyeshadow from our own Queen (saying the Queen looked wrong. ;)) what a day!
