  • phew all caught up :)

Daisy - hope the dentist goes well tomorrow xx

I've put the water on to treat myself to a bath tonight, at least that's one thing when we move the water and heating will be much more cost effective. It's quite sad putting the hot water on as a treat (just in case you're wondering I do wash on a regular basis...in the electric shower!) But anyway a bath means a bit of a pamper with a face mask, candles etc which is perfect after a long day clearing out junk

Girls, who was it that wanted yellow tights? I saw a fab pair (size small) in DP tonight for £1 so I've bought them as it seemed daft not to and will pop them in the post to whoever wants them :)

  • Ah my bath was bliss :)

I think I'm going to paint my toe nails and drink tea (and maybe browse ebay) while OH shouts at the footie on the tv

Very thoughtful of you Alex :)

Haha yes, I struggle in that car..oh I am going to have fun laughing at him
    *lovely daughter*
I might treat him to a cup of tea whilst we are out though, my orthodontist is within a hospital complex so there is a canteen there (that actually does nice tea, same hospital I was on the EDU and we used to go there for afternoon snacks some times!)

    Afternoon lovelies,
Just about survived hosting Coffee Morning, there were 7 mums, 7 toddlers and 2 babies and our house in not big at all!
It's a lovely group but hosting is a nightmare, the other mum's all have rich older husbands, cleaners and massive houses so it's easier for them on their turn.

DB glad the docs went OK, if you need "movement" have you tried glycerin supposotries, they were a must have when I was ill.

It's a gorgeous day here, I'm going to head off to the garden centre in a minute and pick up some essentials and get outside sowing seeds with Dylan, he's just fallen asleep so a sneaky transfer into the car should mean I can shop in peace!

Hope you all have sunshine where you are! xx

OMG, are you me? When I host I feel like the poor relative. I live in a teeny two bed house while they all live in huge, gorgeous four beds, immaculately decorated. I just keep saying we're in the midst of decorating but I think I'm actually gonna have to start decorating soon or else they'll rumble me :rotfl:.

Okay next silly question: Would a boyfriend cardigan be okay work wear? i.e. black one, coloured top, black trousers, etc?

I feel so silly asking this but i'm so out of the clothing loop its unbeleivable.

Depends where you work, I guess. I would mostly say yes, particularly with a nice blouse underneath. In fact you've given me an outfit idea!

Daisy- thanks for the EA tip. I must check out their tights as I'm planning on wearing a black skirt to a party at the weekend and some coloured tight would be marvellous.

Today's outfit was very boring, but I'll post it none the less:

    Blue bootcut jeans- Asda
    'Ink' vest top- La Redoute
Long black and grey stripy top- Asda
Khaki military-ish style jacket- New Look
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • that sounds like a nice thing to do daisy
