    Alex- have fun! x

Magpye- shame it was a waste, but sounds like an otherwise fun day!

PF- I'm not scared of the dentist either, and luckily have denplan (on parents plan) cover for normal dentist stuff, and NHS orthodontist. But I also have a super sensitive mouth/damaged roots of my teeth, so each brace alteration kills...and it's worse this time because I have to force myself to eat through it :(

    C'est la vie,
off to Tesco now...wish me luck...it's been mad busy up there lately.

With you on the orthodontist pain Daisy, ouchh. Good luck. :) However it will be worth it.

I need some berry coloured tights. I might see if my mum fancies tesco tonight too.

Magpye - how annoying! What did you end up buying?

Daisy - lots of soup and butternut squash mash should get you through :)

I actually quite liked qetting me brace tightened, the strange feeling when you bite down afterwards! The worst thing for me was getting the inside of my cheek stuck in the brace while on a bus, and the phase where I had to wear elastic bands from top to bottom - think Mumra!

Erk, I have horrible memories of hyperventilating when they took the impressions of my mouth with that vile clay type stuff. Oh and then sitting there in agony as they left the wire sticking right into the inside of my cheek while they tightened up the other side. I ended up with a mouthful of blood :(

Sorry Daisy, this can't be helping :o

Alex, I took about thirty things into the New Look changing room (the poor assistant!) and bought three. A grey butterfly print studded t-shirt, a black and white spotted bow-back tunic, and a dragon-print halter maxi dress. All different sizes! Didn't get a chance to look at shoes or jewellery, so might have to take a little trip back across soon...

I'm so glad I didn't have to have a brace. I did have my wisdom teeth extracted under general anaesthetic, and the surgeon apparently had a nightmare time and had to shave a bit of my jawbone, but no straightening or anything needed, thankfully.

    Personal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.

Argh! Don't remind me. Vile. I remember having a mouthful of ulcers just in time for my O Level English aural, trying to recite "Jaberwocky" with a lisp.

Magpye, what a shame. The boss sounds like a waste of space so probably a blessing in disguise.

ooh I havent had a brace but they thought I might have needed one when i was younger and I have vivid memories of that awful clay when they took the impression of my teeth and the dentist shouting at me as I didnt "bite down hard enough!"....could have turned round and bitten him!
