Not very happy with my Dad today! His friends daughter sent a bag of free clothes for me to keep/ebay and he forgot them. You don't forget free clothes!!

Been to the post office - 12 tills and 2 open. About 30 people waiting.. as you can guess they weren't pleased with me and my 15 parcels. Where else am I supposed to post things?!

Good luck with the clearing Queen. When we moved we had SO much stuff. One year one and we still have boxes marked with 'need sorting' as we just ran out of time.

    afternoon ladies,

Just popping in to say hello, I fell asleep on the sofa for an hour after lunch opps, but I obviously needed it.

Re No7 nail varnish, I don't find them that good quality, great colours but no staying power at all, even wth several coats plus top coat they just don't last well at all for me, and it seems others have had the same experience on the no toiletries thread too. I've got loads of them from past £5 No7 vouchers. The teal one is really pretty, but they have all been relegated to toes from now on which they seem to last on pretty well.

Goan - our move date is actually 4th april (easter sunday) but as we're moving from a 2 bed house with a cellar and loft into a 1 bed open plan apartment (quite spacious but limited storage) we're really having to be ruthless with the clearing out. We've only lived here just over 18 months but you should see how much 'clutter' we've managed to collect. (doesn't help that I keep going to jumble and carboot sales!!)

I have moved erm lets see (counts on fingers) 6 times in the past 6 years and I am now very very good at throwing things out I can never understand people who move things from their loft that they havent seen in years with them- OH who has lived in the same house since he was a child, moved in with his mate then i with me is a total hoarder! It drives me potty- he will always keep things just in case right down to empty milk bottles for defrosting the car etc....needless t say these things walk to th recycling bag when he leaves for work...he has a ton of model cars which are pretty expensive that are in a big box in the loft...I dont see then point Id have sold them all and bought something useful with the money....when you move a lot you tend to not hold sentimental value on things lol

Get rid of everything you can look at it and decide do I need it/ does it serve a purpose/ have I used it in the past 6 months if the answer is no then get rid...unless its something special of course :) I love moving house...well not the actual moving I hate that and have to have everything unpacked within 2 days- I cant settle otherwise but I love the excitement of a new area (I moved 250 miles away from where I lived in the South 6 years ago and didnt know a soul)..its scary but so exciting too Im sure you will be fine x

Oooh that's cheap Retro, DH bought the tiny baby one from Argos in the end.I know he's right as we'd loose too much patio with a big one. We're assembling it tomorrow!

this one is big but only really in height its easily 9 foot but only about twice the floor size of the small ones...I cant wait to get one as I need a bigger one for fruit plants etc which dont fit in the little one lol

I'm thinking purple - red would be too 'in your face' plus I don't have red lol. I have grey, grape, purple, burgandy and black (boring aren't I?)
