    Afternoon lovelies,
Just about survived hosting Coffee Morning, there were 7 mums, 7 toddlers and 2 babies and our house in not big at all!
It's a lovely group but hosting is a nightmare, the other mum's all have rich older husbands, cleaners and massive houses so it's easier for them on their turn.

DB glad the docs went OK, if you need "movement" have you tried glycerin supposotries, they were a must have when I was ill.

It's a gorgeous day here, I'm going to head off to the garden centre in a minute and pick up some essentials and get outside sowing seeds with Dylan, he's just fallen asleep so a sneaky transfer into the car should mean I can shop in peace!

Hope you all have sunshine where you are! xx

Ahh I remember the good old days of the NCT group I used to freak out when it was my turn as everyone else was richer and posher than me lol

Back from GardenCentre, B&Q and Aldi and couldn't find a nice pot in a bright red for outdoors at all, want it for outside Dylan's playhouse which will have red gingham curtains when I get round to making some!

The weather has turned a bit now which is annoying as it was so, so sunny. Going to have a quick cuppa before going out in the cold garden.

Retro - Yes NCT, he did you guess lol! Well it was NCT until this breakaway group formed as we didn't want to have to be members and pay each time we met so we are now the Springfield former NCT group.

Just stopped by before I leave work - I've been trying to leave for the last hour without success but I'm definitely leaving after posting here.

I can sympathise with all the insomniacs here - four hours max for me last night, I'm always the same on early shifts, just can't get to sleep. Needless to say, all my good intentions of wearing something other than jeans for work today went right out the window when I had to haul myself out of bed at 5.30 this morning. So currently wearing:
charcoal grey asymetric long tshirt (H&M)
    flared jeans - no idea
salmon coloured Converse hightops with red laces (Office)

Jtb - good luck with the weigh in tonight.
Magpye - good luck with the interview
Daisy - Glad to hear the appointment went well. Dried fruit works for me when things are on a go-slow, particularly dried apricot or mango. I overdid it once though (dried mango is just so moreish) and well, the less said the better! Love that polka dot dress, and the black and white spotty skirt.

budget terracotta pot and some suitable paint. Terracotta takes paint very well!
  • afternoon ladies,

Just popping in to say hello, I fell asleep on the sofa for an hour after lunch opps, but I obviously needed it.

Re No7 nail varnish, I don't find them that good quality, great colours but no staying power at all, even wth several coats plus top coat they just don't last well at all for me, and it seems others have had the same experience on the no toiletries thread too. I've got loads of them from past £5 No7 vouchers. The teal one is really pretty, but they have all been relegated to toes from now on which they seem to last on pretty well.

Goan - our move date is actually 4th april (easter sunday) but as we're moving from a 2 bed house with a cellar and loft into a 1 bed open plan apartment (quite spacious but limited storage) we're really having to be ruthless with the clearing out. We've only lived here just over 18 months but you should see how much 'clutter' we've managed to collect. (doesn't help that I keep going to jumble and carboot sales!!)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!
