    Morning ladies

Hope you had a good weekend

Alex, the dress turned up today, thank you :)

Weather has gone all grey and miserable here today :( So I am wearing

    Grey pumps, Primark
    Black tights, Primark
Floral shorts, Primark via Charity Shop
    Blue tshirt, Primark
    Grey blazer, Primark

Think I am increasingly becoming a walking talking Primark advert!

Have you moved Lost already??? new neighbours???

Move in less than a month . Having looked for three years the buying bit is FAST:D:D

Alex, yes, there is a lot to do before we move, and the week we move is going to be horrendously busy. Originally we were going to move furniture on the friday a the end of that week, now it looks like we'll be hauling hay around and fencing instead. we would like to have got the fencing/hay done during this exchange period, but its nt going to happen :( Its a shame, because the grass is going to go over, :(

Girls, I'm not going to get to the shops anytime soon but I need some summer shoes. I wear flip flops a lot in summer, but no good for even leisurely dog walking, and certainly not safe aroun horses etc, though I don't need boots in summer. I had last summe a really good pair of canvas plimsoles/ daps with a cute flower print. This sort of thing would be ideal....the said pair dies this weekend...I get through shoes really quickly. Any one seen anything nice and, um, cheap, anywhere this summer that might be good?

Afternoon all :) Woke up this morning feeling very sick and dizzy so called in sick and went back to bed. Feeling a bit better now thank goodness - it was not a pleasant feeling!

Moonbabe - glad it arrived safely :)

Queenie - lovely to see you back on here and thanks so much for the offer. I'll drop you a PM :)

Lost - how about something like Toms in the classic style, not the wedge? Ethical as well as rather cute for summer. Think they stock them in Schuh, Office, Amazon etc if you don't fancy ordering direct from the USA. There are some lovely sandals around at the moment but were you wanting a proper closed shoe rather than something strappy?

That might work! Yes, closed rather than sandals, manly because have to be very quick to ut on. often I have to run out because I here a chicken in trouble or a dog barking or something, no time to pause to do up sandals and need something more secure at the back than flip flops when dealing with the hoses, which I will do once out there..not something loose an flappy ...

  • Hi all, hope you all had good weekends.

I have the worst hayfever today, so there is no chance of any blog photos, but I am wearing a dress, honest!

Just been to pick up my new glasses and have had a wonderful haul in oxfam - a lovely slouchy red crochet cardigan, a white embroidered shirt, a big tapestry shoulder bag and a woven clutch bag - all for under a tenner :)

    Me today:
    Cream smock dress - Howies
    black leggings - primark
    tan wedge sandals - thrifted
patchwork african material bag - ebay

I have the Primark ones and they're going strong after 3 months :) I just take the laces out and wear them as slip-ons, much nicer imo.

Rainy Wednesday and Alex - hope you both feel better soon.

Rainy, great sounding haul! You should blog your finds if you can't face a photoshoot.

Finally remembered what I was supposed to be doing with my friend today-continuing clearing Mum's stuff :o!

Found some crazy items to both wear and sell. Thank goodness we had a huge declutter this weekend, I've got space to put all my new found things.
