    Welcome mancbird :)

    Vicki - love that necklace!

Sarah - what was the wine like? I thought it had to be a warmer climate than Scotland to grow grapes?

Char - sounds like a fab day! I am awful at croquet so very impressed you managed to win a hoop.

lost - is there an awful lot of work to do before you'll be able to move in?

We had grey skies and rain today and I've forgotten how to dress for rain, so my outfit was a very dull jeans & 3/4 sleeve tshirt combo :(

As it turned out, all the wines are made from fruit, flowers or leaves. They were actually really good - not too sweet at all. The raspberry one was lovely and there was also a white one made from oak leaves that I really liked.

    It's a really quirky place - v hippie-ish and full of character.

Pics in the usual place - check out the 'adventure playground'. I sat on the swing and immediately fell off, pretty unsafe really!

Evening all. (well, early morning) Just got in from a local music all day thing which was pretty good. Outfit was: denim shorts, black tights, white Ed Hardy sparkly top, military style boots and leather jacket. I understand that people must suffer for fashion but there were some stupid outfits.. It was pouring down and has been all day and yesterday, was bloody freezing and people had floaty dresses and no jacket on? (all outdoors btw!)

I'm not very tired a little tipsy and i'm planning to get up for the gym in the morning. I'll catch up and reply tomorrow. night all x

    Morning,

Discovered late last night that my boiler has stopped working - can't get the pilot light to re-light so no hot water.

Will need to stay off work today and get a gas engineer out, what a hassle.

Hope your day gets off to a better start.

    Morning all!

    Sorry for my absence.
Been up since 6.30am wrapping eBay parcels and am awaiting the arrival of a friend. Apparently we arranged to do something today but it was after 5 bottles of rose at the funeral so I've no idea what it could be...eeeeekkk!

    Today's outfit:
Primarni green top with huge exaggerated shoulders (50p car boot sale)
Bleached jeans cut down into shorts (Chazza shop 99p rail)
Green opaque tights (kids ones off the market 30p)
Black suede vintage Sasha high-heeled ankle boots (50p Car boot)
Urban Outfitters peacock feather earrings (5p Car boot sale)
Usual array of massive rings and bangles
Hair in a one-sided fishtail plait

    Have a fun day!
  • Morning Everyone...

I have bee some what AWOL over the last 2 months since moving. I'm not working this week (hurrah) so want to get back to doing the things I love - blogging, ebay selling, posting on here, instead of the things I loath - working, housework, food shopping, just generally existing. (obviously I'll still need to shop for food and clean the house) oh and buy a new washing machine cos ours is broken :(

So yeah. Have still been carbooting and charity shopping, thanks Alex for the tip about the carboot yesterday, managed to pick up a gorgous topshop top for 25p and a strapless primarni dress for 50p :D

Also Alex - PM me your address, I've been having a sort out and have a pretty strappy zara green top, size m which you might like, it's too big for me now but I was reading your blog and you're a size m now - woohoo well done girlie on your fantastic weightloss - I thought you might like it, with green being your fave colour and all :) let me know and I'll pop it in the post for you xx

Char - I did post a while back but in case you missed it - thank you for my frog lunch box, it's sooo cute and perfect for salad snacks, so thank you thank you xx

So today I'm wearing: Wide leg dark jeans £1 carboot, grey oversized topshop batwing top with lace back detail 25p carboot, white birkinstocks (£19.99 TJ Huges, tut tut for paying full price), lots gold bangles from primark and a grey flower in my hair.

Goan - you looked goreous for your mums goodbye, perfect outfit for the occassion x

right better have a quick scoot round with the hoover before the water man gets here and thinks we live in a pigsty xx
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
