Hi chocolate.orange,
I got some reduced plums last night and I'm going to use them to make plum vodka Even if you don't like vodka it makes a lovely sweet liqueur.
There's an earlier thread with lots more ideas so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

i bought what i thought was a tray of plums in the market for £1 but on checking them there is a tray below them as well so i had 3 dozen
i have given some away and now need to use up the rest .
so does anyone have some easy recipes for me please to now use up 2 dozen ripe plums0 -
Plum crumble (any crumble recipe with plums instead of other fruit - you can also mix with apples to stretch further).
Plum pie (like any other pie but with plums inside)
Plum compote, cook plums with a bit of water and sugar and a squeeze of lemon, then put on cereals (cold) or eat with cream or ice cream)
Hope this will sort your stash, but I am sure more people will give you more ideas! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
