Can anyone comment how big this pool is when it comes to storage?
Also, where are you guys putting yours? On the grass? Is it killing it?

Yes as a previous poster has said it will kill the grass. We put ours out for a while and the grass still hasn't grown back properly and this was last summer:o

Thanks for mentioning this site - excellent value! Have ordered the 12ft pool, well I do have four children to get in there! Much cheaper than elsewhere, let's hope that dh agrees with me!

Hmm, I like the idea of getting one of these, but I am not sure how expensive it will be to have to keep moving it around on the grass, and then refilling it again.

Also are these pools we are talking about inflatable or something else?
    Thanks

my hubby rotavated the 12ft area, then put a good couple of inches of sand on before putting the pool up - makes it nice on your feet and we don't intend taking it down during the winter (that was the frame one though, so not as quick to dismantle as the inflatable one).

We got the 8ft one - it too ages to fill. I thought the pump that came with it was useless - was a nightmare to drain too. Mine was 27 pound in superdrug (had 20% off but normally was till only about 34 quid same one was 80 in argos) So far i havent been impressed with the 8ft one.

My friend has the 10ft one and loves it! she bought all the chemicals for it from a garden centre and says that you have to put the chemicals in about once a month the 25 pound chemicals she bought will last her all summer she recogns. She has just bought a cover (she got hers cheap as had no cover) and pool heater from costco.

I much prefered my family pool that i had the last three years (till it got a burst we couldnt find!) it had an inflated bottom (oer!) and it didnt go green as quickly! having read the comments on here i think that i didnt give my 8ft one a proper go! we put it down just before the hot weather (typical) i will definitely give it a go with the chemical next year....

.... for now we will keep going to my mates to use her one with the snazzy heater!

Just had an email from Funkycrab who were selling the 10ft pool for £29.99, they are out of stock and I won't be getting my pool, I am totally gutted.

Why did they let me buy it and pay when they had no stock?

Son is sat waiting outside for it as I write, thinks its coming today by courier, have to go searching on the internet like mad now, NOT impressed with that company at all.
