to get it to fill so that the pool is a circle? I know it sounds daft! But, I filled ours today and it ended up lop sided. It is on flat ground but 2 parts of it, the wall is part of the floor (if you get what I mean) therefore the pool is almost oval and not as deep as it should be. Any help much appreciated.

i know what you mean we had a pool like that the thing is i have just been to ask one of my neighbours whos has one and she said exactly what you say purehomes regarding lop sided etc and she also says emptying is a nightmare she can half empty it with the hoses then she has to tip it as best as she can which floods her garden and the one next door to her so i think i am now put off the 2 hoses are approx 4ft long and then she has a smaller one

I think you need to pull the underneath so it's sticking out further than the rim at the top if that makes any sense?
So bascially the bottom should be wider than the rim at the top.

any lenth of garden hose and start a syphon, this should empty direct to any drain in about the same time as it took to fill, with little intervention.
seize today and put as little trust as you can in the morrow.

Thanks for this tip I have brought the 10ft pool from funky crab with cover delivery and cleaning net thingy for £50. My neighbour was going to get me the 8ft pool with lid for 45 quid from a local warehouse but I have cancelled my order and brought this.
    Thanks again.
But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!

I emptied it yesterday and refilled it. I managed to get it right this time, by keeping more of an eye on it and kept pulling the sides out and pushing the top in!

Can anyone comment how big this pool is when it comes to storage?
Also, where are you guys putting yours? On the grass? Is it killing it?
