Surely you would use the supplied pump to remove the water

Isnt this going to cost a fortune in water to fill each time you want to use it?

thanks, took the plunge and got 1 ;) anyone got any ideas how much cloroform or chlorine to use in this and how often? my fingers hovering over the thanks button for whoever replys ;):D

This is my 2nd year with a fastset 10' pool & I LOVE IT!! Especially in this weather. I only fill it once at the beginning, and then top it up about once a week. Although I've got the PH increaser/decreaser, I test the water once a week & have never had to use these. All I do, if I've used the pool is fill a small plastic jug with water, add a very small amount of chlorine granules, stir it around until disolved & then chuck it in the pool. Don't forget to run the filter afterwards for around an hour. I also invested in a heater (ebay) last year, cost £60 but it was worth it. At the moment, all I use is a solar cover (ebay) & it does heat the water during the day & it tends to keep warm well into the evening. Also, I found that it was much easier to cover the pool with as it just floats on the surface, rather than having to bother with a heavy cover & rope. I am on a water meter but didn't notice the difference in my bill last summer.

It takes around 4 hours to fill

    Hope this helps someone!

We've just spent all afternoon in our 10ft pool and its great :)
We havent got a solar cover but just a normal one that came with the pool but we've never had to put hot/warm water in it.
We havent used any chemicals as yet and am looking for some (will use the link above, thanks)

Can anyone recommend a pool with a surround or something, I don't quite know what I'm looking for but probably a cross between one of these pools and a "proper" above ground pool. Thanks

We bought a 12ft frame pool from https://www.funkycrab.co.uk - we did have one of these but the cats punctured it by sitting on the rim. Funkycrab also do the skimmer and hoover set for £7.99 (dirt cheap and you will need one), they also do lilos and noodles etc. Next day delivery and great customer services. I found out about them from another post on here, and the bestway pool that we got is normally £299 if you search the internet (we couldn't find it cheaper than that so £89.99 is a complete bargain)

to get it to fill so that the pool is a circle? I know it sounds daft! But, I filled ours today and it ended up lop sided. It is on flat ground but 2 parts of it, the wall is part of the floor (if you get what I mean) therefore the pool is almost oval and not as deep as it should be. Any help much appreciated.
