If you use this offer cleverly ie if you know your car has no defects, then you will save money. I did!

And what if you say your car has no defects and they say it does?????

    Who's the winner there???

These terms can be had at reputable mot stations, ;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

So we all need access to a ramp, rolling road brake tester and emissions tester before using this offer.

    Great.:rotfl:

(and the insight into a diversive, bonus driven, customer evasive, profit motivated, mechanicaly nonsavvy bunch of plonkers)

Or you could go to a proper place, ;)

catch 22 try and save money with a cheap mot by a company kown for stretching the rules or build a good relationship with a garage who give good service but a bit dearer. cheap mots are cheap for a reason to get you in and sell you stuff.
that is also why you should never have the mot done with a service
  • We used the one in Bolton and found them to be very good, they told us what it was going to fail on and said he'd keep our voucher to one side for us to bring it back for a freebie test (got it free with insurance) while we went to get the things needed to be done.

I think its down to all things in a chain, you get good ones and bad ones.

May i ask which one did you use? i've just booked MOT + service for Saturday morning on Howarth Street, I heard good opinions about them. thanks for info.

Thanks for posting the offer for Kwik-Fit MOT, however I would have to agree with most people, there is reason they give cheap MOT, it's because they expect you to have the repairs done there.

I used to take my car to Kwik-Fit all the time mainly because their opening hours were convenient.

The last time, they replaced part of the exhaust and a few months later another problem happened with it. They checked it and were sure that it was nothing to do with the part they had replaced yet they insisted on replacing it because it was still under warranty

They always used to quote me for so many repairs on the car...

I have just taken my car to my local council MOT place and it has passed first time with only an advisory notice - the car is 11 years old. Had I taken it to a normal garage, not doubt it would have failed.
Thanks MSE for saving me ££££ this year! :j
