    Yes.

But as these calls are charged at 0.0p per minute then you will still only be charged for the connection.

They are charged at that rate today - but the 20th is tomorrow! And as their 'Latest News' is dated July 2005 - they don't exactly declare much up front.

It's now tomorrow! And they do appear to 'simply' be rounding up to the nearest penny :-

    Pretty clear emails they issue!

It was, and so is the website - per minute billing, rounded up to nearest penny

    So why the irony?

Because, if you make UK landline calls only, there was never any indication from either the bill or the website (until today) that they ever charged for part minutes. So the single sentence, in the Email, was ambiguous.

Because of 18866 ,they know 3p/4p per call is a critical cut over point for many users beyond which they will look around for another supplier.

As I can't check. 18866 charge 5p connection, assume I'm on a standard bt package, how lomg would that 5p get me. Might be losing it ;)

5p connection on 18866 will give you a free call to 01/02 geographical numbers 24/7

But by using sister company https://www.1899.com you can get this down to 3p connection for same service.

Why would you wont to use BT? whose peak rate is 3p a minute to 01/02.
