    Morning all

Had a bit of a "top up shop" yesterday whilst we were out and about - good job too as it started snowing again last night and we now have another 6" ...it started snowing in the middle of December and we hadn't been without it until a week ago..it finally cleared and yesterday me n hubby were emptying pots and cleaning the patio ready for me to start the veggies again,,, and low and behold we are now back buried under the stuff!!!!!

Anyway the shopping ended up being :-
    1. 2lt milk
    2. puff pastry
    3. 2 packs orange sugar
    4. 1 pack vanilla sugar
    5. 1 pack lemon sugar
    6. 2 bags pizza cheese
    7. foil
    8. toilet rolls
    9. parmesan
    10. 7 yoghurts
    11. 2kg apples
    12. shaving foam
so a spend of €14.56 -most of it not needed yet -in fact I could have done without any of it for at least a few more days -but it saves wasting petrol making a special trip...so my spends so far this month stand at €28.45 and 7 NSDs out of 9 :D I made HM pizzas last night -they are stunning if I say so myself :rotfl: -and for lunch today hubby has requested HM cheese n onion pasties with baked beans -so thats nice n easy.... and tea tonight is set to be jacket potatoes wth salad and cottage cheese :T

Right -I had better get off and update my signature
Hope everyone is having a good weekend :D

    Good morning

I seem to have slowed down the spending a bit but I'm still 1/3rd of the way through my budget and only 1/5th of the way through the month. Hmmm!

I don't need much over the weekend but I do need some more kids stuff, fish, chips, pizzas and some fruit.

I want to do more baking rather than buying packs of biscuits but I made some flapjacks yesterday and still ended up eating too many of them. I've got a bit of a post-Slimming World problem here - I'm going to have to get to the bottom of it and learn to live around cakes!

Hope everybody is having a good day:)
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
  • Went for a couple of bits and pieces at Mr T last night but not sure how much I should class the spend as??

The total came to £24.46 but I used £14 worth of vouchers so had £10.66 to pay. The reason I did this was because I was buying alot of baking supplies for when I make cakes for the shelter time for cake week so used the vouchers towards this.

So before the vouchers my spends were :-
£8.36 on groceries for me and OH
£16.30 on baking ingredients for making the cakes

I was thinking about just classing the £10.66 as what I spent as thats the amount of money I had to pay out of my own pocket. What do you think?
Going to get to grips with food shopping again, starting February!

Got married to my lovely hubby on 12/11/2011 :D

Personally, if the spend was on stuff you would normally buy, I'd count the total (to give you an accurate idea of what you spend on groceries) but if it's for cake week then don't count the voucher's worth as that's not YOUR spending IYSWIM

Popped to Sainsbury's last night, spent £4.55 on:

    Bread
    Butter [BOGOF] so saved £1.14
    Value pizza
    small milk
    toffee poppets
    cooking apple
beef slices for sandwiches next week.

I was quite pleased with all that for just £4.55!
I shall update my signature. x

£2.42 in Wilkinsons today, but I managed to buy 4 bottles of Persil/Comfort washing liquid & conditioner for that with a combination of various vouchers. Not too bad I thought, in fact I may go back & get more at some point.
