    I got my parking eye ticket today.. I know every one says to ignore but is this really true??? Ive read on other forums some people have been taken to court..

    Which forums ?? Can you post links.

    It is not unknown for fake tales of court proceedings to be posted on forums to scare people.
    We are only aware of ONE case where Parking Eye are proceeding against a vehicle keeper , that is due to be heard on 1st December.

    Imagine how many invoices this company issues in a day ...will be hundreds and yet only one court case ??? (And that is far from won)

    THINK ! Why would that be ?

    oooohhh 2nd warning letter today!! i can see why people pay i must admit! they are bullys! and very clever bullys the way they have worded the letters are very crafty!

    It may be a 'problem' if this thread keeps getting bounced but it was the one that I found at first attempt when researching Parking Eye, so for newbies like me do keep on bouncing.

    I am surprsied that these parking hustlers/companies do not get more bad press in the national press. Could we not start a campaign of contacting our local newspapers (in addition to nationals) ?

    Glad I read this.

    I was just searching for their address when I came across the thread as just got a letter from our 'friends' following overstaying my welcome in Chelmsford. This first letter looks similar to the 2nd letter in the attachments, with pictures and asking for £50 if paid in 13 days.

    I read as far as page 26 of this thread and then gave up and worked back from the end for a couple of pages. Unless I'm mistaken still no one has been taken to court and still the advice is ignore.

    Thanks guys for saving me £50.
