You won't get took [sic] to court, and even if you did the PPC would lose.

  • Really pleased to see that there still is no legal standing for Parking Eye.

Off for a weekend break in Aberystwyth and have been worrying about parking due to my mobility problems. Do not have a blue badge, but walk with a stick (fall over without it!).

Have decided that I will park up, take my time and not worry about what time I return rather than trying to rush around the shops in 2 hours.

Then wait for the letters to come and ignore, ignore, ignore! :0)

Have similar problems myself, and it can be a pain but a threat of a counter claim in defence of direct discrimination contrary to the Equalities Act 2010, viz not making a reasonable adjustment, would cause them grief if they tried to do court, especially if CCTV evidence shows the "Criminal parker (NOT)" walking with a stick.

Hi guys i had a ticket for 60 quid in July whilst working as a support worker for someone with a learning disability. I had to write to parking eye and take legal ownership of the invoice as they was hounding my place of work.
My employer wants to pay it then take it from my pay at the end of the month which i dont want because i know they are just scamming for payment as a result i have had to write to them and ask all future bills come to my home address...all because the company i work for are tits and are worried it may result in a judgement in their name....please!!!!!

I am 110% sure that i will not pay this INVOICE as it is not a legal fine and its all hogwash dealing with these pratts. my advice is
DONT PAY THEM A DAMN PENNY
and look up the law on parking on private property because its not a ticket from police or council so non inforceable:T

The advice in England/Wales has changed - DO NOT IGNORE!!!!

So stop reading this ancient thread and get reading the sticky threads on page one from this year instead!!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

I am pleased to have found all this info on 'scam' parking penalties.

BUT, what is the difference that allows Council run car parks to issue similar demands for money?

AND, same question regarding Traffic Wardens who issue penalty tickets?

WHAT is the difference between ParkingEye and Councils/Traffic Wardens?

(before you tell me off I admit to being uninformed in these matters).
