You might find that the underwriter's idea of a written explanation falls short of the amount of detail you think you are owed.

possible but I'll worry about that if and when we are rejected.

Any how, I have seen the e-mail he sent to the bank manager in writing where he states and promises that if it turns out that we was rejected again he will give a full break down as to why we was rejected. Lets wait and see.

waste of time telling this guy anything..he thinks he knows it all...that's why he's applying for a 40k 25% mortgage on a joint income of 55k....very savvy...............:rotfl:

That BM is going to a lot of trouble for a 40K mortgage, must be struggling to meet targets..:rotfl:

WILL YOU PLEASE PHONE THE BANK

They have a 30 min job to do and it is your right to chase, this is a review not a new app so even easier, every day wasted is a day you could be sorting out what you have to do next.

Give me the number I'll phone them

It's all gone quiet - can we assume the underwriters have come back?

Still no rejection! If that what you was hoping for you smug !&%£*

They sent me a text message yesterday from a generic number confirming that the application is being reviewed again - just assumed it was a standard thing they do.

Got one today saying the following:

“Your valuation has been instructed. We will contact you again once the valuation has been received. Yours sincerely HSBC”

any of you "experts" have any ideas what that means considering all what has happened. Valuation on the mortgage application? :S

Been unable to get through to bank!
