I've been having a bit of an Ebay listing marathon over the weekend and have listed 43 things! You are only allowed to list 100 a month for free now (as a private seller) so I wanted to get on as many as I could while it was still May.
2 of the items have bids already, and 14 of them have watchers, and they all have over 5 days to go, so I'm hopeful I should make a reasonable amount for them. Every little bit helps doesn't it. I've been reading memorygirls diary and she mentioned she is going to break down her mortgage into 1000 manageable payments, so for me that would be 1000 payments of £171.88. One of these payments broken down over 30 days for June means I need to make a payment of £5.73 a day so this is my target.
DS1 is at the childminder today and DS2 is asleep in the buggy so I really must have a clean up and sort something for tea tonightMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
I love Memory girls ideas. I wish i could think like that. Well done for following through on it and getting all that listed on ebay. Wow. I have about 20 on at the minute and that is more than enough for me.
Great bargain on the bike buggy too. We have one we bought new a couple of years ago but we use it all the time. Not always as a bike buggy either as we use it as a double buggy when we go geocaching or countryside walking. It is the best kids thing we ever bought. Have fun using it.0 -
I'm having a hard time getting motivated today. I've just put both boys down for a nap so will turn the laptop off and do some jobs now. I listed some more things on Ebay last night so I now have 48 items on there. I still have a HUGE pile of things to put on there too, but some are winter things, so I'll put those in the attic until around September time.
I have lots of sorting of clothes to do today. They have all been washed and dried, but then dumped in the utility room, so I need to get them all put away and some of them need ironing.
I also want to sort DS1s bedroom out as it seems to be gradually attracting more and more clutter.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
Monday morning again, how does it come round so quickly?
Nothing planned today apart from cleaning and decluttering. I will take the boys out for a walk or to the park so they can get some fresh air this morning and then they will hopefully both have a nap this afternoon.
I need to pick up some cereal and some fruit so think Ill pop into Mr Ms too.
This evening I have around 6 Ebay items to post and I nee to keep an eye on payments coming in for the other items Ive sold. So far my items have made £90.86 and I have another 35 items finishing tonight. I'm not under any illusions that these items will go for as much though.
Actually thinking about it I have quite a list today really:
Vac downstairs
[STRIKE]1 load of washing and drying[/STRIKE] did 3 actually
[STRIKE]Sort something for tea[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Hunt for toys to sell at the Nearly New sale[/STRIKE]
Pop to Mr Ms Went, but it was so rainy we sat in the car for 10 mins then went back home
[STRIKE]Take boys to the park[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Post letter to Penpal num 1[/STRIKE]
Write letter to Penpal num 2
[STRIKE]Pack Ebay items[/STRIKE]
take photos of 50 more items to put on Ebay.
Suppose I'd better get dressed and make a start...Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
Looks like it's going to be another busy day today. I packed up 20 Ebay items last night that sold, so DH has taken them to work in the car so he can pop them to the supermarket for me at lunchtime. I've also had a few more people pay for items today, so will pack those up so they can be posted tomorrow. Also, my friend is popping round for a coffee this morning. I could do with cleaning all morning, but it will be good for me to have a break and a chat.
Other things to do today are:
[STRIKE]Check internet banking and try and shuffle some money round so I can make my daily payment mortgage OP of £5.73. [/STRIKE]
Put away all the clothes that have been dried.
Move all the clothes that are too small for DS2 out of his bedroom and sort for NNS, Ebay and Charity shop.
List Cross Trainer on Ebay (it's been sat in the lounge for ages! and I never use it)
Clean/tidy utility room
Move Paypal money into savings (so I don't spend it!)
[STRIKE]Sort something for tea[/STRIKE]
I'm also going to try and enter 20 competitions a day in the hope of a win. I've had quite a few comping wins in the past, but never a really big one. There are loads of fab competitions over on that part of the forum so will try and have a go while DS2 is napping.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -

Hope you had a nice morning with your friend and a good break. Good luck with the comps, I dont seem to be able to fit them in these days, I think I am taking on too much lol

I haven't done half of the things I wanted to do today, but the Ebay stuff took longer to pack up that I thought. I did have a good clean of the house this morning though, and then took DS2 out for a walk this afternoon so we could get some fresh air.
All the Ebay items have finished, and the total was £119.30 :j I've had to pay out almost £25 in postage already though and there are some more to post. Plus PayPal take fees and so do Ebay. Hopefully I will be left with about £80 though
I have LOTS of maternity clothes to list on there too, but a lot of them are summery things, so I want to wait til the sun comes out again before I list them.
I'm going to go up to bed now, as I've had late nights every night for about 2 weeks now and I'm shattered. Another busy day tomorrow as I've promised DS2 we will do some baking.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
I'm shattered this morning. Didn't get to bed til after half 11 again, and DS2 was up for a feed at 4 o'clock, then both kids up for the day at half 6. I think DH and I could both do with an early night tonight as he has slept in 2 days in a row now (staying up too late playing on computer games).
I'm going to do a beef stew in the slow cooker today so it will be ready for when DH gets home from work. DS1 has asked if we can go to the toddler group down the road (hate those things) and then will pop them to the park on the way home.
This afternoon the plan is to try and get both kids to nap at the same time - easier said than done! and then try to get the clothes put away. They've been sat in the utility room for days now and I really need to get them sorted.
Better get moving and try to fit in some lunch and a cuppa too :rotfl:Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0
