    Morning all

I have a day's holiday today :) which I'm very glad of. I feel much better than yesterday (though I've only got up to go to the loo and make some toast so far!). Didn't even get showered and dressed til 6pm yesterday and then I was in bed by ten. :D

Plan for today is mainly to chill, I am meeting a friend for lunch and need to do a few jobs:

shops (new laundry bin [cheapo one from Primark], plant food, a belt & some trousers.) get cash out for kebabs tonight
    pack & post book swap.
    card for Aunty J
    phone hospital re appointment
    chase up Linz re house
fold & put away clean laundry
    Mr T delivery 4-6pm
tidy pile of books in bedroom

It's the best of a bad job, but after sleeping on it she's opted for Geography, English Language, Photography and Sociology....it boiled down to Photography or Psychology and she has less interest in Psychology than in Photography..so that's how we made the decision....:o

    Good morning flymates!

Towels washed, waiting to go in TD; beds stripped, sheets in WM. Am pleased as my sheets/pillowcases were showing - erm - evidence that I have had a cold and a runny nose BUT decided to leave them on the bed as clearly the evidence would be added to. Thigs seem to be slowing nasally although I still bung up overnight (and no, the heating isn't on) and sleep with mouth open. I must also be snoring (hardly surprisuing) as my bedroom door gets shut 'for me' ')

hair appointment at 8:30 so I have sat and caught up with Fred and a :coffee: and am now going to get changed/have a bath as I cannot stand being prickled with snippets of hair....

Then it a PLANNING day in th emain...

Manic couple of days. DS1 managed to get a foreign body in his ear which has resulted in various trips to walk in unit/ hospital / ent specialist. He won't be that stupid again it was v. painfull having it removed.

Just trying desperately hard to keep on top of the mud that is continually being deposited on my hall floor, this weather is driving me crackers!

DS2 has had after school football on Wednesday and Thursday so I have mountains of muddy kit to wash - don't think I'll get round to stinky bedclothes today!

    Hi,

    In my 2nd HHC i

Put 2nd load in td for 10 mins
    Folded load from td
    Hoovered living room & passage
    Tidied dining room
    Swept dining room
    Cleaned table

I'm just having a coffee before i do a bit more.
  • I'm so glad I found this thread I have looked at the weekly flyday bit and always wondered what it meant so the other day I had a look and how glad am I that I did.
Instead of being bored having to do housework and feeling glum that on my day off in the pouring rain I have to clean instead its good having some direction as to what to clean on what day. I'm just about to tackle the computer room(spare bedroom) and its very untidy bookcase and because it was on the list I'll do it too whereas for weeks I've kept looking at it wishing it was tidy!
Whilst getting my cleaning stuff out of kitchen cupboard I found a kettle descaler so whilst that was working I sorted said cupboard out ,washed all toothbrush holder, toilet brush, pedal bin etc ready for my next room which is the bathroom.
I'm not very good with the technical stuff yet though so don't have a clue about defragmenting, copy and pasting adding christmas tree etc but I'll get there.
Thanks for letting me join in x
