Manic couple of days. DS1 managed to get a foreign body in his ear which has resulted in various trips to walk in unit/ hospital / ent specialist. He won't be that stupid again it was v. painfull having it removed.

Been there with DS2 and the end of a pencil rubber - he hasn't repeated it:D
It's the best of a bad job, but after sleeping on it she's opted for Geography, English Language, Photography and Sociology....it boiled down to Photography or Psychology and she has less interest in Psychology than in Photography..so that's how we made the decision....:o

Are you talking A levels? DS had a bit of a nightmare too ended up doing Geography/History/English Lit/Maths - hoping it turns out ok. They got to do taster lessons which helped him to change his mind/choose

    Done my dailies
    Done some urgent bank stuff

Going to do 15 minutes finishing the family room and then starting on the bedrooms - ours first cause we deserve it most;)

Triker and I are having a declutter next week (and Piggers may play too!)

I thought we could work along the lines of wedding anniversaries for no real reason but to make it more focused so:

    1st Paper
Monday anything to do with paperwork/photos/boxes of cards/kids pictures/books etc

    2nd Cotton
Tuesday Clothes - anybodies for charity or ebays but not creating piles!

    3rd Leather
Wednesday Handbag sorting/putting away/getting rid of or sorting bags of clothes stuffed under your bed/including camping stuff/sleeping bags/sporting equipment/shoes/boots

    4th Linen
Thursday Linen cupboards/towels give them a good sort. Do not keep stuff just in case. Vets often want old towels

    5th Wood
Friday - can include toys/sorting sheds/tidying your woodstore (greenbee)/DIY jobs

    6th Iron
Saturday - cleaning out the car/refilling washer bottles/sorting our your heavy metal records/sorting our your baking tins/cast iron pans

7th Day of rest! Almost lets pamper
Sunday - sort out your toiletries and enjoy a bath decluttering all those bath bombs/face packs/trail samples/candle lit of course

Anyone fancy joining and shall we have a separate one off thread?

dusty - I need to do a bit of decluttering too, so I will attempt to join in! I may start early though as I'm around this weekend! Brilliant theme idea!

Could add shoes to the leather one...and books to paper?

separate thread is maybe a good idea. x

although I won't be in I think that the theme is inspired (and I would add shoes to leather, defo;))

    Hi :j
Dusty - love the idea of the anniversary declutter :T - have printed it out and stuck it on noticeboard.
Off to continue with today's list - just stopped for a quick coffee and thread catch up.

Valli - you know I have a problem with shoes - thanks for adding that!

    Morning all

    Today's list done
(did all the bedrooms on Wednesday, washed throw from settee, washed cats blankets, put WM on cleaning wash, stripped spare bed and that's in the machine now). Vacuumed right through downstairs.

It's bright and breezy here and the washing is whizzing round on the line. Unfortunately next door's gate is broken so that's been banging all morning.....

    Catching up now.

    Family room done

Glad you like the list, I've added shoes and books - anybody can add anything they want, it is just to encourage focus (something I can seriously lack at times!)

Right I'm off to the bedroom before lunch.
