evening everybody

first of all an apology to Soappie for not having done the stars today.
I havent been too well this afternoon - dont panic - just a tummy bug but feel grotty so have only done a quick skim of the thread.

the most important thing I want to say is ........

smartie I do not call that resting - for goodness sake take a chill pill and rest!!!

Pigpen - on a completely unrelated matter, do you have any idea what the parking will be like for a 9am appt at Castle Hill Hospital tomorrow, friend and daughter very nervous about the journey, never having been before, pretty please ?:D

I've washed up, tidied and hoovered the living room, made Ds1's lunch for tomorrow and put Ds2 to bed since my last post. I will get the kitchen done tomorrow.

Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter and wipe worksurfaces
Sweep and mop the floor
Wipe table!

[STRIKE]Wipe fronts of units and large appliances
Scrub out the sink
[/STRIKE]Clean filters ?? What does this relate to pls??[STRIKE]and door seals.. don't forget the fridge ones they are usually revolting!
[/STRIKE]OMG - Forget the fridge - what about the dishwasher?!! I have never seen anything like it :eek: Thought I'd open the door and wipe round the edges where it closes and it was awful! Esp the bit at the bottom, uggh!
[STRIKE]Wash/beat dirt from doormats
[/STRIKE]Level Three
[STRIKE]Wash small appliances and replace[/STRIKE]
Clean out the fridge.. furry fruit is not so healthy!
Clean out a mangy cupboard!


Extras

1. Scrub kickboards
2. [STRIKE]Wipe over the oven and hob which you all twinkled last week! [/STRIKE]:p
3. Wash out bins.. rubbish/recycle/compost caddies
4. Throw out any oven trays beyond their best.. peeling non-stick coatings are really bad for you!!

Phew, my flying for tonight consisted of reading 15 pages of this thread. I read properly the first 10 and then S&S the last 5 ... I just cannot keep up with it!

Tomorrow I'm getting down and dirty in my gleaming lounge and kitchen to get them back up to PP's standards for a Toots / Soappie award.

Everything I wanted to say to everyone has already been said except to Louboutingirl - congrats on the new job back on about page 5!!! well done you xxx

£2.50 for 2 hours.. and absolutely terrible.. They built loads of new buildings on the carpark space so there is hardly any space at all.. here is most parking in entrance 2 but that is where most people need to go...

We had a fairy early appointment there recently (plastic surgery clinic) and there was no space at all.. OH had to wait outside in one of the emergency spaces.. they said no more than 30 minute stops.. thankfully we weren't much more than that.

And gynae/maternity/womens/outpatients bit we parked right at the front because the car park at the back is ALWAYS chocka!

Not done much today. Was pleased it was kitchen day today as I'd done most of it yesterday. Done 4 x wm and 2 x dw. Sausage and mash with onion and mushroom gravy for tea. Few bits to do tomorrow to earn my star:D

Did go shopping today and got presents for DN, DD2 and DS3 but not for DB or DH. Don't know what happened there, DS3 isn't until mid April and wasn't on my list today???

Finally booked flights for our summer hols. Haven't put the holiday forms in at school yet but am very excited anyway. The flights cost £450 cheaper than 2 years ago and I'm paying for one more seat this time.:money:
