  • Hi,

Just sat down to rest for the first time today, been on the go since 6.30 this morning. I'm really tired but think it went well all in all.

DD came back happy (far to wide awake for the time of night) but she did settle well when I put her down

Have a few things left to do tonight to get ready for the morning but I am having a day off work, looking after dd and flying tomorrow so I don't mind working a bit more tonight :)

Hope everyone's day has gone well, thank you for all the support :)

Not had time to read through everything yet cos have been partying celebrating Adam's 3rd birthday a day early because of parents evening tomorrow! Dh didn't get the job but got really good feedback so was pleased but not elated. Still got to find him something before Adam starts nursery in September.

Not had time to fly yet either and got planning to do and an episode of holby to catch up on

LilySue *groan* have been there so I feel for you honey - the dust seemed to be endless - hope it all goes well - at least you will know you are all safe - what about getting him to install fire alarms that are on the electric sytem while he is at it??? Sometimes thats the best thing to do - just clear out and let them get on with it - have one big clear up at the end of it all.

Thanks Toots for the sympathy...I think I just have to accept that my flying is limited to cleaning up the house every evening when he has gone home! And since I have to move quite a bit of furniture every day, at least I am getting to vaccuum behind stuff that hasn't been moved for quite some time.

Finding it a bit hard though that electrician told me tonight that this is the worst house he has ever worked in....trying to take that with a pinch of salt as I feel he is a doom and gloom merchant:D

Oh and Toots you had the same idea as my dh about fire alarms on the electrical system, we did ask, but the electrician didn't think it was a good idea for us, so I asked him to install good battery alarms throughout the house.

Highlight of my day was going over to my Mums and using her shower, then to top off this heady excitement I watched Bargain Hunt with her while drying my hair under her strange inflatable bag hair dryer ( I think it's probably a collector's item in itself!) :D

I guess they are under the impression he is trolling, but he is perfectly harmless as far as I can see:) either that or people are constantly reporting him:mad:
