  • My blo£dy arm is killing with taking notes today when answering calls. I fell on Sunday in the snow and ice, went down like the proverbial but DH was holding my right hand so he hauled me up so only fell in a kind of curtseying fashion! LOL Hence one scabby, bruised and swollen knee but worst is I have hurt the arm that has the chrome elbow as put that out to try and stop myself. I’m soo frightened of falling and damaging it that I walk like I have wet myself in snow and ice!!! My sister has bought me some shoe grips called “get a grip” or something but of course forgot them!!

    Sorry for moaning!!!

Getting there slowly, now need to get dinner on.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Not really keeping up, but been watching from time to time. Have just decided to take a break and then make dinner - pasta with tomato sauce with bacon in it and maybe something spicy (ie penne matriciana, for those who like it in Italian ;) )

No fltying done at all today as been working nonstop on a statement. Have a hearing tomorrow that i need to prepare for now, so will be having dinner while watching Heartbeat at about 6pm, then straight back to work. Need to get up at 6am to leave by 6.30 to travel to Leeds (rush hour when I get there, hence leaving 2 1/2 hrs for a 1 1/2 hr journey).

Consolation is I will get poaid at some point!

Best wishes to all those struggling.

Sweetie, please be careful re bean. Dont overdo anything.

Sarah, hope today went ok and you didnt miss LO too much

Rosepink, you appear to be suffering from an attack of the BD? Am I right? Just keep focused on one thing at a time and there is plenty of help and poasitive vibes from here heading your way.

If anyone else is struggling, sorry if I missed you. Hugs anyway.

Hi all; only had chance to skim the thread again I'm afraid, so Wolfy ((((HUGS)))) wherever they're needed.

Rosepink if it helps, m'dear, I used to be terrified of cooking for Mr LW. I still get very nervy about it at times, but trust me, baby steps will get you there. Like others said, break the task down into bits - starting with putting all the items you need out on the table/work top. :)

    Anyway.... today's flying....

I don't seem to have done much apart from dailies, i've been a bit lazy today. Tomorrow morning i am not going to turn the laptop on until 11.45 then i can have 30 mins before i pick up Ds2, i've been on here far too much today. I'm just waiting for the rice to cook to go with the Chilli ( that i only just remembered to put chilli powder in ). Ds2 is asleep, i'm going to have to wake him or he won't sleep tonight.
