    Evening all

Hope all the poorlies are better

Had a fascinating tour of freemason's hall today - they even gave me a cup of tea! Managed to take some pictures despite the rain and have now almost finished my young wives presentation.

It's bloomin cold though we've had no snow so I've decided on lamb chops with mash and gravy for dinner. Comfort food!

  • Back again. Worked on research most of the day, and resisted the temptation to break off and do cleaning or other stuff. Finished at 5:00pm and went straight on to the kitchen cos I felt g-o-o-d about what I've got done :j:j:j! (Another deadline coming up for end of March so it's getting serious again).

So, one hour later, and my kitchen is sparkling... just in time for me to stir fry all over it :p (the oil seems to vaporise all over the entire kitchen when I do it...) ::shrug::

Put a slug of wine in the gravy for an extra "bite".......I didn't do the peas and carrots though as the rest was ready when we got in from the school run and DD had peas in school and so didn't want them again so we just tucked in as was(with a yorkshire too)

    Am I being really dumb...

I want to copy the list into a post in all its technicolour glory and then strike out all what I have done but it keeps appearing all in black text :(

On a plus point I have done quite a bit in the kitchen tonight and spent 40 mins ironing. 5 minutes was cleaning the dust of the iron :rotfl:

Wooohooo this room is done :D

There is a carpet in here AND it has all been hoovered :rotfl: The only things left to do now are sorting the pile of paperwork which I think is mostly filing, now I can reach the cupboard and sorting the bookcase which will take a while. But I am more than happy with what I have achieved. Two freecycle things have been collected, I recycled one myself (I decided to use the lamp shade in here). Another item is to be collected tonight and the last one has an offer out on it as I type.

Got the before and after pics to remind me what it was like!

W has been in the bath and Miss A is now reading to him. I had better clear the bed so he can sleep there tonight.
