Can Pets at Home refuse me back my hamster?

As with every industry..there are people who are in the job because they love it and care for it, others who are in it purely for money/all they can get etc

In the same store i witnessed staff who seemed to care, others who didn't.

however i did not intend to start a debate about pet stores here, just wanted some consumer rights. Everyone has a valid view in some ways however this is a topic to which people will always have differntiating views.
