I recently purchased 3 of the above for my XBOX, Blu-Ray, and Sky-HD box and the quality is much much better than the standard ones provided by the likes of Sky etc.

    Great value for money.

I bought a 1m one from Amazon for 80p delivered earlier this week. Delivered in 2 days. Connected the Xbox to a Samsung LCD TV and the picture and sound quality are very good.

I can get very expensive HDMI cables for next to nothing, and I still buy the $3 ones from eBay. It doesn't make the slightest bit of difference.

i was looking for one for a little while for my ps3, as i needed a 3metre length.
hughes was around £35. i went to my local westgate house store (co-op) and got 1 there for £19.99, it has gold connectors and has been great up to now!

I think that you mean gold plated connectors, which you will be pushing in to a nickel plated socket, so you will gain nothing.

You may just as well buy cheap nickel plated cables.

Cheap gold plated ones would end up worse as the cr*p bonding process will mean it literally breaks down over time

How can it end up worse its a digital signal ;)
  • Assuming it's under 2 meters in length, any £3 HDMI v1.3 cable will do, the rest is are a rip off
