    What data do you need to backup

    Which operating system is it

    I need to back up my documents and pictures. It is Windows Vista Professional. No I did niot get the start menu

    I have got Task Manager up and it shows no Applications but under processes it shows

    At2evvxx.exe 00 1,416K ATI EXTER
    csrss.exe 00 5.360K
    dwm rosanna 00 964K desktop
    taskeng.exe rosanna 00 2498K tASK SCHE
    taskmgr.exe rosanna 02 2100K wINDOWS
    winlogon 00 788K

    some of these numbers are going up and down. Does this help

    The only restore point it showed was 3.15pm this afternoon

    Many thanks . I seem to have made progress but cant seem to get any further. I have task manager open anything else worth trying? Or should I give up
