It's stupid, isn't it? I really had to think about that one, and came up with something along the lines of, "It did not make any difference to the softness of my clothes or jeans". Not very clever, I know. :o

It's true though, it's not the fabric softener that makes your jeans soft, it's the way you dry them.

 It was LESS than 15 words? I sent mine back yesterday, and I'm fairly sure I wrote more than 15 words, even though I didn't put much. That's a really stupid condition! I wonder what they'll do when they receive my claim...

what are you all saying about comfort in LESS than 15 words?

I wrote "my jeans are still like cardboard". :D :rotfl:
  • Saw TMF on Powerade. Doesn't ask for a receipt, you need the promotional label and a form from their website. They refund up to £1.18 (inc postage).

I wrote 17 words for Comfort and they sent it back. They also gave me 2 hrs detention and 100 lines punishment.
I felt like including the word pedant in my new attempt, but thought better of it as anyone who spends their day counting words would probably think I was accusing them of something much worse.

You are joking about them sending it back aren't you?/?

Also found Powerade today - in Sainsbury's. It's an isotonic sports drink 500ml bottle. You don't need to print the aplication form - you can send a piece of paper with your details instead.

I was actually looking for the Shloer drinks - if someone has found them can you tell me where as I am getting fed-up with looking for them

I've only ever seen them in large Tesco Extras. None of the average-size Tescos seem to have them, or Asda, I don't think.

(Thanks for the explanation of what Powerade is - I didn't know :o)

Unfortunately I don't think that was a joke - companies do do that. That's why it's extremely important to follow all the T&Cs exactly. As futile as word counting seems, you really have to do it when doing TMFs. :o

The ones that get me are the ones where they specify the size of the bit of paper you have to send in. I'm getting a feeling they have a special person there, with a ruler, measuring whether it's really 3''x2'' or whatever (probably the same person who counts the words as well :rotfl: ). It's mad, but you have to play by their rules to take advantage of the offers.
