  • hi.. just about to phone the surf washing line to try and claim my money back.... as anyone done this, and what questions diid they ask ?
    thanks...:T

i picked one of the 99 top stains, that it says it removes on the back of the box. said i had washed as per instructions a couple of times and the stain had not come out. very nice lady on the phone, advised me to up the wash powder dosage and use something like vanish prewash, but said she would still send me reimbursment of washpowder cost. i received £7.00 in Unilever vouchers this morning. :o

I did not fancy talking over the phone to someone about my washing so I e mailed them, from their site, they just e mailed back and asked for a number off the box, within a few days I received my vouchers.

Got my refund for the Twinings 1706 tea today: I'd paid £2.99, they'd refunded £2.85! The T&Cs did state the refund would be up to £2.85, but surely it's not my fault that Tesco charge more than that for it?

    Gonna email them ;)

TMF Dentyl mouthwash. £3.99 at Sainsburys. Refund is a maximum of £3.99 plus 2nd class postage. The mouthwash has a TMF cardboard collar that is needed to make the claim.
    Up Tipp!

I've only got the Scotch-Brite scourers (£1.09) at the moment, not the cloths (£2.99) - haven't found the promotional packs of those yet! But on the scourers it definitely says: "To claim a refund send your scourer, original till receipt, you full name, a SAE, and explanation why you're not satisfied and the name of your usual product."

I'm assuming the cloths would have the same T&Cs?

I'm now waiting to do my oven, and then I'll send the scourer in :p

But it's all very confusing, like what do they mean by an SAE: self-addressed envelope of stamped addressed envelope... It's a naughty promotion, this one.

EDIT: Seeing that they won't refund postage at all, I'm assuming it's just a self-addressed envelope. There's no way I'm paying 2x 23p to get £1.09 back!

With Surf, you must say that it didn't remove one of the 99 stains mentioned in their guarantee. Some are listed on the box, and all 99 are on their website. Pick a tough one like something fruity or a felt-tip pen and just tell them it didn't work!

Quite honestly, I don't think any washing powder is perfect and I always have stains that I can't get off (one of the privileges of having a 3-year-old in the house who manages to get weird stains ). Therefore, I find washing powder TMFs easy, and I'm being honest in saying that the stuff doesn't work 100%.

Just remember to write over 15 words for the Ecover statement!
where's the number to call for the surf 99 stains tablets?its not on the box!!:confused:
