Ooh, I asked Vimto whether we could take part in the TMF promotion for the new flavours - apple and orange - if we've done the old one and just had a reply to say yes!
To ensure you are fully aware, I am delighted to inform you that you can participate in the Taste Me Free! promotion for each flavour.
Excellent!0 -
Hi,
I admit I haven't tracked back thru the entire thread, so I may be telling you all old news, but...
Just called in Asda and they have a 9kg box of Surf for £10. I checked and it has the money back guarentee details on the back, so this will hopefully be a really good buy.
Unless one of you tell me there is a maximum amount you can reclaim ?! In which case I will have to return it for a refund.
I had already got a box of the tablets and am using them at them moment. Cleaning isn't brilliant ( but then what is ) but the smell is lovely. May just give the receipt for that box to daughter who is at uni, while I claim for the £10 one !
By the by, both Tesco Mis-price threads are closed - if someone could let us know why it would be appreciated. We don't know whether the policy is being withdrawn, staff have been acting fraudulently, or we should all be expecting dawn raids from the police - or Tesco heavies;)0 -
I don't think there's a maximum you can claim on the Surf guarantee, The Old Bag.
Just remember they'll refund you in vouchers (which can be used for loads of Unilever stuff - or even without buying it at all, if you're in Asda/Tesco
)

I have done the surf one recently, had to email the batch code, and got 2x£3 vouchers in the post really quickly!
Spotted the cranberries in tesco, bought for £1.79 and about to pop in the post tomorrow for my money back!!Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -
Found a new TMF today on Tesco Somerset Brie cheese. Yellow "Try Me Free" flash on front of label. Packs are individually priced according to weight, max refund is £1.90 so make sure you choose your pack wisely!
You need to send the promo label, 15+ statement saying what you thought, and your till receipt. You also need to include a self addressed envelope ("We cover the cost of return postage" says the blurb... so it sounds like they've finally got around to clearing up that confusion from the past!). Till receipt must be dated on or before 31.10.06, and your application must be postmarked within 21 days of the date on your receipt. Final closing date for applications is 21.11.06. One per household.0 -
I found a new MBG on Quorn 4 Creamy Mushroom Pies
It says on the back on the upper right hand panel:
"We are commited to providing you with the best quality Quorn Creamy Mushroom Pies. If you are dissatisfied with this product please return all packaging to Quorn Customer Care, Freepost (UK only), Marlow Foods Ltd, Station Road, Stokesley, North Yorks, TS9 7AB"
They cost about £1.99 in Tesco's.0 -

I think these sort of 'Quality Guarantees' are slightly different from a genuine Try Me Free promotion.
Most products give you the option of writing to the manufacturer if you are not satisfied with the product - which is slightly different from TMF offers, which are more about personal taste. Having said that, the elaborate terms and conditions on some TMF's can make it hard to differentiate.0 -
happyhunter wrote:sent off my claim for the 3M kitchen cloth.
I put in 1 used cloth, Stamped Addressed Envelope, and the usual 15+ words.
Sent it 2nd class (charge 37p as large letter) 16 days ago.
Received hand written cheque for £3.98 (but not sent using my SAE) today.
This happened to me today. Where was my envelope?0 -
Still waiting for the cravendale cheque . . . I sent off in July!0
