    Morning all!
Have woken up to a couple of inches of snow! Thought that was all over with now? Have already walked the dog in it - he reverts back to puppy mode when there's snow around and bounces around like a muppet!

    Today's list includes....
    • Clean bathroom
    • Do yet more school work - who's brilliant idea was it to be a teacher?!
    • Cook nice dinner for OH and I later
    • Check banks - have spent tons this week and its at least another week until payday so on rations from now on in!
    • Walk dog again
    • Have a look at newspapers online instead of wasting money on reading lurid headlines
    • Get stuff ready for school tomorrow
    • Have a mega printing session later so mentor thinks I've actually done something over half term!
    • Watch a film later already taped on Skyplus rather than hiring/buying a Boxoffice one
    • Have a nice bath tonight and have a mini pamper session
That's it for today - back to writing lessons - booo!

Edit - Have just decided to make some flapjacks/oatmeal cookie things too - baking at 8.30 on a Sunday - my mother would fall over laughing if she knew!
  • Well back from 2 weeks away, and even then have been quite MSE, we took £500 cash and spent about £400, we have put some on the CC such as some new clothes ( been to America, so cheap )

    Today I have or will

    Check bank balance
    Vist Gym
    Hover upstairs
Packed washed clothes away - Still 2 loads to do
Get Ready for tomorrow - Work :-(

    Good morning happy campers! :)

Well, X Factor live Tour was brilliant! Olly winked at me three times (at least, I think it was me...that's my story and I'm sticking to it!:)) Great night out and best of all, didn't spend any money at the venue apart from a bottle of water! This is particularly good as I didn't buy any food (bought me own with me) so I stuck to slimming world all day :T Feeling very proud of myself today! :T

    My list:
    • Walk pup
    • Finish the big bad essay - 800 words to go!
    • Meals from stores
    • NSD
    • Indulge myself....Eastenders omnibus this afternoon :o
    • Use free minutes to call mum and dad for catch up
    • Bit of reading for work placement
    • Washing at 30 and airer dry
    • Catch up on the thread
    Have a lovely day all

  • Hi everyone

Hoping for a productive weekend! (I fuming about my cc application but I'll relax after this cuppa, stick to the thread topic :p and concentrate on the small things!)

My small things this weekend are/will be:
    - Staying in today - housework by day and good HM food with the tele by night (Might pop out to get some vino...still have £2.50 in my purse and some coins in the jar!) Mmm, was so tasty. And much nicer than the last take away I had!
    - Decided to use the restaurant vouchers for Sunday lunch. Plus, can have a soft drink and won't be tempted by 'spensive restaurant wine that's not worth it (I heard there's usually a 3 to 4x mark up in restaurants btw!) Just thinking about having breakfast and getting ready so will probably wait til 3 or 4 to head out.
    - Sold old mobile so need to pack that up ready for posting on Monday All ready :)
    - Catch up with some TV on iplayer (not much of an easties fan though :D) Task for tonight I reckon
    - Might do some baking But the eggs are more appealing for breakfast...
    - Need to do a March budget and sort out what I'm paying to where in prep for payday next week. :A Hoping to pay off cc #2 (#1 is all clear!) in 2 pay days' time - budget says I can but it's gonna be tight! :T
    - Chased old electricity co to see where my cheque for £100+ credit is since closing my a/c with them - takes 28 days!!

    Take care everyone.

    xx

It's a lovely snowy day here today. :snow_grin Think we'll wrap up for the walk to the restaurant and make some snow angels in the garden on the way back.

  • Hi al , well todays dumping of snow has spoilt my plans of a long healthy walk with DD. Instead we are currently sat in front of the fire with the heating on high waiting for the house to warm up .

My alternative plans for today :
    • check banks
    • text freinds with free texts
    • ring family with free calls
    • Get into loft to store some stuff and a general rummage around
    • more cleaning :(
    • more ironing :(
    • more hokey cokey dry on airer
    • lunch from stores
    • tea is roast chicken that shall become several days chicken and rice dish.
    • meal plan for week
    • indulge in making banana bread if bananas arent too far gone.
    • list some items on ebid / ebay
Weather report looks bad for week but luckily i am on holiday from work and have switched work phone off ! Probably won't acieve all i want to but at least i can relax . Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks , stay safe and keep warm.:)

God morning Peeps (well just obviously though have been up for ages pottering - honest!)

This weekend I have and still plan to:
    • Catch up with friends - check - 2 lots officially caught up with which has been lovely and very low spend to boot which is even better
    • scratchies and the like scratched, played etc
    • try to get fire going today without benefit of wood - was intending to go twig collecting in park but 6" of snow has put paid to that - refuse to buy those measley bags of kindling so may just have to wrap up instead
    • take dogs out in snow
    • wrap e bay item and list rest of railway stuff
    • advertise 3 larger items in local paper for free
    • push buy button for already sourced house insurance, using cashback site + newly acquired cashback credit card - double bonus me thinks
    • make bread to have with lovely veggie soup that OH made 2 days ago - freeze remainder as there is limit to how long it 'improves' with keeping in pot (ie before it starts going mouldy!)
Think thats about it for now - house is lovely and clean due to mad amateur fly lady session yesterday in honour of visiting friends so may spend 20 mins ensuring it stays that way for a while longer :o

Take care all - nice to see you on here sparkles, welcome nomorespending, pleased you enjoyed your evening Triangle, hope you had a fab time in the States Lotte and yaa boo sucks to barclaycard Mbaz
