            Hi
 Thanks for keeping me focussed...
 - received food survey in post today which should hopefully result in some vouchers..
 - Lovely family breakfast from storecupboard - time to sit and chat.
 - Took DS1 to gym, together with flask of coffee while I sat and waited...No Costa for me!
 - Onepoll - soo close to 40 pound!!
 - DS1 went to party and I used a Valued Opinions voucher as the pressie. Unfortunately at 11 the parties are really close friends and it is an average of 10pound for pressies. Thankfully my survey sites come in handy..
 - Bought 4 Easter eggs for us at one pound while still on offer at sainsburys.
 - DS2 happy to spend time with DH on computer games whilst DS1 at party etc free entertainment.
 - Freezer fish and chips for dinner - b1G1F Findus fish together with Smartprice chips and mushy peas happy all round.
-Sorted out birthday cards for next few months - if any not got will buy at Save the Children shop they do 3 for 99p!

Just to add to earlier post..
DS1 was with me (hes 11) while I picked up a few things from Sainsburys, including the Easter Eggs!!. He said "we need more weetabix" steered the trolly and looked at Sainsburys own v Weetabix next to each other on the shelf. "Thats just crazy he said" and looked from one to the other saying the prices and put in the Sainsburys box. Felt very proud - but will also try to compare that to Basics next time!!

got a nasty letter from a debt collection agency today for barclaycard. it's first I've heard from them and they're saying they'll be coming round to collect the money (yeah right!). It's only for £300 though so I've sent a full and final settlement for £180 to them which all my babysitting should cover so fingers crossed they accept it!
Ergh to the letter but well done on the F&F excellent even better that its covered with babysitting money Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there. excellent even better that its covered with babysitting money Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

            Hi everyone,
 Did my daily clicks,
 Washing done and hung outside,
Went to visit auntie's 2 new kittens and took them toys that my 2 never play with rather than buying new ones - they were delighted,
2 lightbulbs changed to energy saving ones,
Rather than usual saturday meal out, had a takeaway and shared chips, rather than ordering a portion each!
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! x
:A2014 = my year for change!:mad:Credit Cards are NOT my friends and I'm NOT playing with them anymore 0 0

:T:T thats great - I love it when they start to realise these things :T:T
My son is always outraged at the way prices are displayed - some things are in £/kg others for the same products are p/g's etc he thinks its hugely unfair in a very teenager type of way -
Wasnt that long ago none of us ever read these to compare things Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there. Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Sparkles is much more cheery than fedup!
Hello to all posters new and old ( esp Cleosmum - good to see you again! And Princess Loki - were you our Christmas Elf?)
My bank acc is leaking like a sieve at the moment, so much to sort out, fix, mend and/or save for.
Therefore I am unable to declare NSDs all week and indeed for the next week at this rate.
However, I will be feeding my family from accumulated freezer goodies which I will incorporate into a meal plan of sorts. Also have taken dinner money etc out and put into envelopes for weeks ahead so I know the essentials are covered.
Have a good rest of weekend everyone
 Belle

 Getting there...slowly!

 GC : must do better
 NSD: very rare
No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.0

a good day today!! Spent ages in tesco tonight - my OH thinks its so funny that our idea of an exiting saturday night is venturing out to tesco. we've been debating him getting a second job, I already work full time plus an extra 9 hours a week 3 hours tue wed thurs evenings - hes thinking of working weekends to try and speed up our debt payments.. in two minds - on one hand it would be great but on the other we look forward to weekends so much taking dogs out etc that i just don't know if it will be worth it... however i digresss...
Have done a fab food plan for the next 4 weeks and will not ( other than milk and all being well) need to go shopping again for 4 weeks.
OH got some anti bacterial kitchen cleaner and was most pleased to have rooted out the cheapest one - tesco at £1.00 ofcourse me being me had to check there were no offers on and found some spray - same size which came with a pod, to make it more environmentally friendly, so that when the cleaner is finished you add the pod to the empty spray bollte and fill with warm water - essentially getting twice as much - yet to be seen if its any good but will report back - the refils are only 88 p for 2 ( didn't buy any yet incase its poo!!! But i was pleased with myself!!
got lots of 9p noodles - sure they have a negative nutritianal value... but i like them and they should help me out when i'm hungry and want to spend money on junk. Gave in and bought dog shampoo as OH is isnsisiting its bad for their skin to have human shampoo...
got enough super cheap ( 1.60 not 180!!) biological washing powder to last about 2 months and am still using vinagar as softener most washes - use softener about 1 in 5.
after todays united defeat OH has suggested we sell our tickets for tuesday night - £70 for me hurrahhhh!!!
thanks for the welcome Ald65.. I only joined MSE in Jan and this is the second board i've posted on - just getting into the swing of things and finding my way round here really but everyone is sooo nice , its good not to feel totally alone in the quest to get out of debt.Baby due 4th May 2013
