When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :D

Gooooood morning....I'm back being first!!!!! My girls are off out for the day - cheerleading competition;) So early start to get them all ready, hair french plaited etc....yawn yawn, not used to the alarm at 6.20:eek:

Not much on for me today - I'm going to go to the Uni library and crack on with my darn essay plan once and for all. If I stay at home I'll avoid it:oHSgrad.gif

Morning Milly - nice you see you back posting first! :hello: Hello all - lovely blue sky here this morning :T

First of all....Stacey Slator ice Skater! What a shock!! Very enjoyable night in with Eastenders last night and the BBC3 'aftermath' show :)

Back to reality.....and another exciting thing for me this weekend....off to wembley tonight to see the X Factor Live Tour!!!! I booked tickets for me and DH just before Xmas and before I got back on the MSE wagon :o However, tickets weren't too expensive, it is a treat for us both as we don't go out much anymore and we are driving there and back rather than staying in a hotel! (that's enough justification from me!)

    So my list looks like:
    • Walk pup
    • Take pup to friends who is looking after him overnight (we won't get back until about 12.30am)
    • Breakfast and lunch from stores
    • House tidy
    • Take packed tea to eat in car: save money and stick to slimming world
    • Couple of phone calls using free minutes
    • Couple of hours this morning doing work/uni reading
    • Leave in plenty of time; drive carefully to conserve petrol
    • Not buy any merchandise or snacks (hoping you can bring your water/fizzy pop inside)
    Have a lovely weekend all
