Facebook rules say that the minimum age is 13.

Better to get it from the horses mouth!!!!!

I think this is a rare instance where everybody else really does have one!
  • Thanks for the replies everyone. Do those of you whose kids have accounts end up spending a lot of time looking at their friends' accounts? It's sounding a bit time consuming tbh.

My argument is that he sees his friends all the time anyway, that has their mobile numbers and email addresses, why does he need yet another way to communicate? But then, I expect I'm an antisocial misery :p:)

Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you

There is a lot more to facebook than communication.

No I haven't, as I said I don't know anything about it, otherwise I wouldn't be asking here;) It seems you have to create an account before you can look at it, or have I got that wrong?
