a loophole in the system i think.
as DIM was previously registered, the system obviously still allows a user to use the 'dannyinmanchester' user name.....!

Congratulations to you for wanting to earn money yourself instead of wanting to get money from your parents! That is terrific and very mature of you.
Are your parents entreprenurial minded? If they are, they may be willing to help you set up an internet business of some sort. You have to be 18 to enter into a legally binding contract, so you'll need adult help to do very much.
You can also get a newspaper route, find an office job (I would suggest talking to family friends who own businesses if you want to do that), or sell yard services.
You love to shop? Do you have a terrific sense of style for adults? Maybe you could be a personal shopper (again, you'll need Mom and Dad's help for that since you'll need a car).0
