Pal, do you see what i mean now..  :Di also like the way you decide to go against the 'collective' disagreement towards me, based on your own your own better judgements, that is coincidently also the sign of a good investor. (plus i needed some support  to my viewpoints and you gave it. Thats all).

No sorry, I still don't understand. I am having real problems keeping up with you. Are you saying that the way to be a good investor is to disagree with everyone else apart from you? Or the way to be a good investor is to agree with you?

I have tried both but my investments don't appear to have improved. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for taking the time to help us all out. My apologies on behalf of the rest of them. Sometimes they just can't see the good news that is in front of them.

Oh really, Pal, it's really all very simple. You're allowed to spend your money on sports cars and marrying spice girls, provided you don't save any money on them by using this site, which you are supposed to be using only for reading dim's tips about saving, er, sorry, investing, money by borrowing it to buy houses. But obviously never from the same company twice.

The bit he's left out is that it's usually necessary to get sold to Real Madrid as part of the strategy. Becuase this would blow his TRUE identity, as a once great player with niggling hamstring troubles who frankly isn't as sharp as he once was (hardly the toast of Manchester though...) I think this is enough information for the time being...

not forgetting that spending is a waste of money. I think i will skip on the shopping this week. We eat far too much anyway.

Im so utterly pleased by this negative reaction above me.

Its a truly thrilling sensation to both my body and soul ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

You really ARE a true Brit there tim, good on yer lad! :)

build em up, watch them overtake in material wealth and success, and then quickly pummel them back down to earth with the same contempt you probably had for them in the first place.

Like Comments such as "not as sharp"- well he is nearly 30, which does tend to change youre sharpness as a footballer from being 21 or 22- The period youre talking about. Id really like you run alongside him for about an hour or so, make that an hor and a half, just to support your theory, and validate your point.
(perhaps for £120,000 a week you would, but you wouldn't because you couldn't)

But hey, Mr Beckham, hardly the pride of Manchester, so lets see.... about 4 times as rich-no, make that 10
    - and now playing alongside probably the best set of players in the world. We really need to think who we are and what were saying here really dont we.

It seems i too am now in fact, a figure of hate.

Perhaps a cult figure of comedy?
A hysterical numpty from Manchester who waffles useless and 'already said' statements, which fall endlessly on deaf ears.

And yet, as i make you laugh so much, where does this show in your replies. where are your posts which make ME laugh? Wheres all the jovial comedy returned to me for my efforts in entertaining you?

    Its a tough one...

I really have no harsh feelings towards you, or your swiping nastiness. Nor with anybody else on this site.

Actually, All i ever seem to be feeling is a deep sense of loathing for every one of my DannyInManchester
(DIM for those that dont already know) and almost childlike ideas (complete with spelling mistakes).

In fact- by now, if i were anybody else reading 'DIM's' comments, I personally would be feeling a sense of empathy towards a person who is just trying to be helpful to other people, and hopefulluy contribute in some way or other- even if it is only in comedy value.

Then again, I could take some comfort in the Beckham philosophy, or in the fact that im not being ignored, people ARE reading what im saying, AND, people are discussing the issues i raise- oh, and also, im making money from my ideas.

You can now feel free to make all the excuses you want-comedy, pap, idiot, manchester half wit, it all goes to support my 'new theory'. Please read from the top if youve not caught up yet...

Its very interesting to see people choosing to spend a bigger portion of your time discussing my pap, than saving theirselves some money.

SO -Im STUMPED guys. absolutely stumped.

    Whats the objective with me?
Its as illogical as all my posts to date...

Do you hate arrogance- am i arrogant?

Do you hate over-confidence- is that it?

Is it because i wont buckle under the pressure of a better intelligence

    (which i wont)

Consider all of this- this is your personality test, but instead of using ME as your subject, you must try to use yourself.

Please Ask yourself -why you would want to hate anyone standing out to express an opinion. Why would you want to hate anyone, regardless their thoughts- who is just a guy who can assert himself. Consider all the options you can think over...
You know the right answer, you just cant face the truth.

Then, please try at the very least, to return
to me- not to each other -the same level of entertainment, if thats all it is, thati so clearly offer you.

In the meantime, im off to patent the idea of
'making money out of replies to threads'.

I might even make new a thread- How to make money whilst avoiding contempt. It may take me a while :'(

    All the best.

    Danny

It's becoming increasingly difficult to respond to you Danny.

I truly hope that you can find peace with yourself.

Now I am really lost. We were talking about improving our investments by agreeing with Danny, then we were discussing marrying posh spice as an investment? Personally I think the supply of posh spices is fairly limited. I also don't understand why she would be an attractive investment? She costs a fortune to maintain (although a very small food budget would suffice) and doesn't exactly generate a great deal of money any more does she?

And then Danny seems to be saying that his posts are all jokes but we are meant to take them seriously? I really liked the "paying of debts" first idea. Are you telling me it was a joke?

    ???

You COULD try agreeing with me. ;D

Sorry, that wasn't fair, it is probably beyond your capability. :D
I have five stars! This doesn't mean that I know anything about any of the things I post. I could be a raving lunatic, or a brilliant genius, or just some guy on the internet. In fact, I could be all three at the same time.

If anything I say makes sense, then do it. If not, don't. Don't blame me or my stars if you do something stupid because I suggested it. I'm responsible for my own stupidity only. You are responsible for yours.

Why, I don't even have five stars anymore! Aren't you glad you aren't responsible for my stupidity?

Have you said something intelligent that I could agree with? I suppose there is a first time for everything. Perhaps you could post a link to save me searching through the rest of the drivel you usually post. ;D

I suggest you take a leaf out of Danny's book, and start posting your great ideas in a concise, easy to read format that everyone can understand.

    1) Igonarance is bliss

    2) Denial is a defence machanism for handling a 'reality'
    which we fear.

    3) Sarcasm is used as a form of wit- which gives conveys a true opinion, but excuses you from being offensive

    4) We are a nation full of pessimism, cynicism, and sarcasm. We are entertained by ourselves in these area during our darkest hours, or when we fear someone has or will reach their potential- or if we fail toreach ours. Displacement agression, bullying.

    5) The victim can often end up the aggressor

Eg- the school geek (excluded from the bullies) can often end up as the Internet bully- where sites allow this behaviour to continue. Partly covered in point 4, but no always apparant, often difficult to control.

    Final point:

Dannyinmanchester- successfully provides all of theabove to many people. Please continue to read his threads for more information. 8)

Don't you remember? I don't get great ideas worth either patenting or posting. That's why I have to post drivel -- there's nothing else I can think of.
