Perhaps he's stressed because his partner is getting better and he can see their income from her disability dropping in the near future...?0

Not so....all the benefits we have we are entitled to... took the advice of a benefits advisor. With the greatest of respect, feelinggood you do not know me or my partner & the nightmare she's been through with her psychosis.0 -

We can only go on the information that you give. Based on that information, it would seem that you are milking the system.Gone ... or have I?0 -
some of us have know that from his first posts!
Then you're psychic sunnyone....how can claiming what we've been advised to claim by a local council benefits advisor
...not 'milking the system' but claiming what we're entitled to...which is what this board is all about.
I do love the measured responses on here to merely a question about claiming DLA....apart from the few posters on here that I've mentioned (that have given reasoned well thought out answers to the original question) I can't beleive the level of anger....has no-one anything better to do? Now if I was lying & claiming all sorts of things...making up illnesses, etc then I could understand these comments...BUT I AM NOT.
I've not even applied for this DLA ??!
Chill out everyone.....
I'm off out for a beer paid for out of my huge ammount of benefit that I get (£53 a week carers allowence) that I have extorted from all the good, tax paying people out there. Yup I'm rich milking the system.
Feel free to argue amongst yourselves...I won't get involved any more. Just asked a simple question...had some good answers from a select few that I can chew over.
Night all!:beer:0 -
I worked for 28 years as a nurse, midwife, health visitor, however I have been off work for almost 2 years following illness which turned out to be cancer. I am in the recovery period now from the operations and treatment and will be back to work as soon as my physical problems allow for the long shifts (ie when I'm not running to the loo all the time as I no longer have a colon.) So although I am not so needy and entitled to benefits as you, obviously ( you being young and fit and me being almost twice your age and having a lifelimiting illness) yes I am at the moment recieving income support plus CTC. Is that OK with you?
The difference between you and me is that I have had no choice in my situation-whereas you delight in telling everyone that you have chosen your current p/t work and benefit claim. If everyone was like you the economy would collapse. You are an absolute disgrace, but blast away at me if you like-when you've faced your own mortality someone like you is like flicking a louse off my shoulder.
I never asked about your life story a simple yes or no would of done..0 -
