I find with wii fit that even with stretching before hand im so sore for about a week that i cant do anything else! Last time i was in the verge of going to the doctors as it hurt to breathe!!!

Taking godson our for a walk today so that will be a good distance and tomorrow rather than driving DD to her party we are going to take the dogs out and walk the long way home!

Im going to write my meal plan soon, i dont follow any kinda slimmingworld etc as i cant afford it and think if i dont actually go to meetings then i wont do it properly so for me its just healthy eating and excerise!

A grilled chicken Salad is a definite, we both love it and its super healthy too :) Any other suggestions are greatful, we will have left over chicken, mince & probably pork or steak as we get the 3 for £10 meats and split it up! Also Lunch suggestions too please :)

Welcome empy. You'll have to let us know how you get on with your kettle bell. Your holiday will be a good insentive for you.

ladyfalco there's a lovely recipe for sticky chicken in one of my recipe books that you could have with salad, This is the same as in my weight watchers cook book.http://http://www.bigoven.com/160802--Sticky-Chicken-recipe.html My meals don't really change when i'm on a diet i just cut out all the junk in between and think a bit more about portion sizes. Last night we had risotto and i usually add butter and cheese just before serving but last night i didn't.

We haven't been for a walk we had to go into town instead. Ds2 wants to go and play in the garden again so i expect i'll do some more weeding.

Well done ladyfalco that'll do some good.

I've just done 30 mins on the Wii fit and 15 mins on Just Dance. 15 mins is all i can manage in one go it's exhausting. We haven't been for a walk again today i'm going to have to make sure we do tomorrow.

  • Hi everyone, OK if I join you?

I'm Chris, and I currently weigh about 15 1/2 stone and size 18/20. Got blood test results on Friday and there's a note on them: diabetes - make appointment! I've got an appointment on Wednesday with the doctor, so if I'm diabetic I'll have to go on a serious weight loss plan.

I've got a wardrobe full of clothes that I don't (can't) wear because they are too small and I really want to wear them all again. A couple of years ago (Nov 2007) I went to Slimming World and did brilliantly, losing 2 stone in a couple of months. Easiest eating plan I'd ever followed. Don't know what went wrong but I gradually got back into my bad eating habits, until now I am heavier than I've ever been. I do hardly any exercise, am tired all the time and eat anything and everything, so it's high time I sorted myself out. I don't want to join Slimming World again as I find it too much pressure having to report in every week, so I'll follow the healthy eating plan, and listen to my Paul McKenna CDs and hopefully have some weight loss to report very soon. (And be able to get into my smaller clothes).

Welcome loopychriss. After i lost a lot of weight with weight watchers i remember feeling afterwards that because i wasn't on a diet i could eat everything and anything. I'm now a stone heavier than when i started.I think it's got to be a lifestyle change which is why i can't do fad diets and have to be able to have something naughty occassionaly. Hopefully this time we will all achieve our goals and maintain them for good, and get to wear all our lovely clothes we've got stashed away.

End of day 2, i've used 23.5 / 25 points allowance. I've done 30 mins on the Wii fit and 15 mins on Just Dance earning 4.5 bonus points. I've even had a glass of wine and some after 8's and still have points to spare.:j

Thank you hollyh; it's going to be very hard for me at first as I haven't really been watching what I eat since last October... I went to Spain for 3 weeks and was listening to Paul McKenna's CD every day... I lost about 5lbs while I was away! But that was when I had nothing else to do - since I got back home and back into hectic life it's all gone by the board and I haven't listened to him since! Still, I'll dig it out this afternoon and make time.

I'm going to fit into all those lovely clothes by August - no, they'll be too big for me by August!!! I am currently living in the same 3 pairs of trousers and about 5 tops, mainly because I won't buy larger sized clothes. I resent paying money for clothes that size, and because I'm always 'going to slim into what I've got'. For years and years I was in denial and would only buy clothes in smaller sizes to slim into. Eventually I realised that it wasn't going to happen and got rid of all the size 10s and 12s. I'd now be happy to get into a 14 ultimately....So, good luck to all of us, let's see what we can do!
