I've been out for lunch with my Sisters and Ds2 and afterwards they all had pick & mix and i didn't.:j I was only a tiny bit jealous as well. There's only today and tomorrow before weighing and i didn't want to risk it having had 2 bad days this week.0

I haven't done any exercise today but i've been good food wise. I've used 23.5/25 points allowance.
How's everyone else doing? We're getting closer to the 19th March and that 1st monthly weigh, i can't believe how quickly it's going.0 -
Hi everyone
Seem to have had a week full of sick children! Weight last Friday was 12st 11lb so am still slowly going in the right direction. No idea what it will be tomorrow - been a bit of a carp week and have been grabbing food as and when. I'm sure the rice cakes were healthy, but I daren't look at the calorie/fat content of the squeezy cheese I put in between 2 (x3)!
No car at the moment so perhaps I'll walk the children to school tomorrow - 4 mile round trip - to compensate for lack of healthy eating this week!
Hope all doing well, and will try to catch up on the thread at the weekend.0 -
ohh cosmomo i hope your kids feel better soon !.
holly you are so good with ur points..
I havent done any exercise this week.. i am all over the place, with tummy pain and cramps.. i it is being this bad since i had the coil inserted las november.. i have a period every 28 days but they last for 2 weeks!.
I haven't been eating much really... i just feel very deppressed but still able to stop myself from eating too much, luckily we havent done the shopping for the week as i am not well, so there is not much crap.
Tomorrow is weigh in day... i think i will be exactly the same, as i have been sitting at home doing nothing the whole week !Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -

Have just been sitting here thinking of biscuits, but you lot managed to make me go to the fridge and get an apple instead! Thanks ladies:T
DD1 back to school today, DD2 on the sofa having been up all night with the dreaded tummy bug. I might see if she wants to laugh at me doing Wii Just Dance in a bit.
Hollyh I really admire your points counting - you obviously have a will of iron!0 -
I have been losing weight with the help of https://www.weightlossresources.co.uk, keeping a food diary etc as they suggest. Howver, weight loss is quite slooooow. What is happening, however, is that I am fitting into smaller clothes. Just about 11 3/4 stones and I'm now in size 16, bra size down from 44DD to 42D.
What I find is that some kind of regular fitness regime is essential. I've just come back from chair-based keep-fit at a retirement complex. I also go to aqua-aerobics on Mondays and adult beginners' swimming Tuesdays. In between I do exercise with Leanne Grose's DVD: Leanne's Chair Workout and/or with weights and stretch tubing.
For anyone wanting to get into a smaller size, as the title of this thread suggests, I would say from experience that some kind of fitness routine is equally as important as watching what you eat. And sitting there thinking about biscuits is NOT the way to do it! A first step could be a massive clear-out of your cupboards and fridge etc - don't buy any foods, 'treats' or snacks that you know are no good for you! If they're not there you can't eat them.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
Before I found wisdom, I became old.0
