I signed up for o2 via topcashback ,it is showing £75 instead of £50 .Will have to wait and see .
I spent a couple of hours on the phone last night with o2 trying to get my BB connected .Coutomer service is really good ,and the 0800 customer service number for free .So far so good.

Right Im going with 02 for broadband at the moment as soon as I get a landline number however I dont really want a landline number and pay line rental etc as my mobile is sufficient What is the problem with Talk Talk people keep complaining about? Right now I have been using Talk Talk my landlord has at this place I am lodging at for about three months and its pretty good I must say. Sometimes about an hour a week it seems to update of something where I cant get on but thats about it for complaining about TT broadband I dont know which plan m landord is on not asked them yet

Then your only option is Virgin cable or mobile broadband. No landline = no ADSL broadband...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

There will be other deals at other times. O2 have had a series of deals since before last October.

Then whoever has that number now would get activated with O2 broadband instead of you.

There is no need for a static IP address unless you are planning on running a server where people access it and need to know your IP address, although even that can be worked around.

Yeah but I need broadband next week not weeks months down the line and also that deal with 2 months free and cashback is pretty good

I have never heard of BB updating and stopping you getting on.

Most of TalTalk's complaints have been due to poor customer service, especially when there is a problem.

I doubt you are going to get a BT line installed that fast.

You do also realise that it will cost you around £122 to have a BT line installed?

Perhaps a bit premature with ordering O2 then? You don't even know whether you will be able to get the cheaper O2 deals as you have no BT landline to check against - not all exchanges are unbundled and even some that are are already full and won't take any more on their LLU service.
