can i ask if any of your vets have had a go at you about raw feeding as i have seen a few posts about the vets being unhappy? or would i just not tell them
Do you understand what any of these supplements do? I am qualified to degree level in (human) nutrition and I don't recommend individual supplements to my clients, that is for the a specialist. You can do more harm that good with individual nutrients as you can upset the natural balance.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

I didn't know you had clients. What line of work are you in FF?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
i have read a lot and the recipies all seem to include the above ingredients in certain amounts more being added if the product is frozen for any length of time. i have 2 recipes i am going to trial and see how we get on, im not just adding them willy nilly i have specific amounts etc to add. im not giving these on top of the raw food it seems to be in the mixture
have found another site that states by adding in certain ingredients and egg yolk the only thing you would need to add is taurine! i could post link if anyone is interested? What's for you won't go past you0 -

Physical activity, most recently in the NHS but previously in fitness centres. My areas of interest/ 'specialty' are nutrition and weight management, posture and injury rehab and special populations (metabolic syndrome, mental heath, etc). I am qualified and experienced enough to see low to medium risk clients in each group, kind of taking over where physiotherapy and dietetics leave off IYSWIM.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

Sounds a very interesting and lucrative line of work! I know how much physios charge!! lol
You say most recently in the NHS... do you get your referrals from the NHS or are you in the private sector? Sorry if I'm being a little nosey, I have a personal interest in this area so interested to know more about it“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Most recently working in and for the NHS as in paid by them, nope the fitness industry is not a lucrative one I do it because health is my passion.
There are increasing numbers of roles in physical activity and lifestyle behaviour change opening up in the public sector. I previously worked in the private sector, but to progress you need to want to instruct group exercise (I teach a little), self employed as a PT or venture into management.
When you do your gym instructor (level 2) and PT training (level 3) you are only taught to work with 'apparently healthy' individuals ... except actually about 80% of people wanting to get fitter aren't!It would be financial suicide to turn them all back to their GP so a good fitness centre will steer them towards the member of the in-house team who has relevant qualifications or expertise.
Most my referrals have been word of mouth: in my last place my diary was full several weeks ahead so management just let me cherry pick my clients.I am lucky as many in the industry are youngsters interested in bodybuilding, sports conditioning or dance which is the complete opposite end of the spectrum to health.
Just lost my train of thought as Noah has stolen his defrosting bone-in rabbit chunks again! :rotfl:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
I'm sure you could command your own fees in a niche market, the industry is growing rapidly right now!
A relative is currently doing a Sports Science degree at Uni and is very excited about future developments, especially with UK hosting the Olympics next year!
Apologies to OP ... gone drastically off-topic and this has absolutely nothing to do with cat food!!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
