Mornng everyone
Its lovely and sunny here, but quite cold. DS2 up early again, think he knows it is no school and wants to make the most of it. My Oh is coming up for the weekend and staying till Monday so we will have a long weekend together, which will be nice.
Wm on. Going to make a sausage casserole for tea with a recipe from this board. Need to make some more weetibix cake and hoping to make some rolls using BM. Got to take the old mattres to the tip too. I am still trying to make headway with the clutter, need to be more strongwilled and not thinking I may use it one day.
MSD - Your baking sounds lovely.
Csarina - Hope your DS car is okay.
Taplady - Hope you are feeling better soon and that the injection worked for your DH.
flutterbyuk - enjoying you evening out, hope you feel better though.
NPM - Hope that your DS eats the Tuna Pasta Bake and ou enjoy your show.
N9eav - The car looks great.
Well I'd better get a move on, need to clean all floors again downstairs as had all kids in from neighbourhood yesterday and it had been raining.
((Hugs)) to anyone that needs/wants one. Enjoy the rest of your day. Take Care.

Morning all,
Had a very lazy morning here, did not wake up till after 9, and thats only because the phone rang, must have needed the sleep.
My dd is home tonight :T:T:j:j:T:T, I am very excited to see her, she wont be home till late, but at least she will be here.
I am going to have a good tidy round and hoover today, it doesn't really need it, bit will keep me busy, I will also make some soup, there is some veg that needs using, and will bung in some lentils, dd can have some tonight if she is hungry, and we will have the rest tomorrow night, followed by pancakes, we put pancake day off a bit till dd was home.
Had my 2 week delivery from sainsbugs last night, goodness there is a lot of food, think I might make it stretch longer than the two weeks, although we may need fruit and veg, it did work out a lot cheaper :T
Having said that OH and I talked about getting a curry delivered tonight, but I do feel a bit guilty as we have all the food in the house, we shall see.
Thanks for all the comments about the conservatory, I do love it, we need a rug and some curtains for the window and door, but we are getting there, just the rest of the house to do now :rotfl:dd's bedroom is next, then the bathroom and then our bedroom, the rest can be done as and when.
Nessie will nip up the co-op later and have a look at the steak, thanks for the tip xx
Taplady hope you feel better soon xx
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning
cold, sunny and very snowy here, but it is dripping from the trees so it looks like its on the way out:T
Not going anywhere today have too much to get sorted before we go away next week, and if I dont get started it will never get done. I just dont feel like it, dont seem to have much energy lately, think I'm just in lazy mode
WM doing it's stuff, need to get the vac and duster out everything is so dusty for some reason, and the mirrors need a good shine.
Sun is lovely shining through the windows but they look filthy  so will wait for sun to move over a bit then clean them...some of em anyway
I really could do with a house elf .....now that would be luxury:)
Brekkie was porridge
Lunch is corned beef sarnies and yoghurt
Dinner is pasta and bacon bake then fruit, I think!!!
Hope you are all well, have'nt been in for a few day's been dashing around for the 2 Mum's.
Off for a quick read through
Back later

Morning All!
Haven't posted for a few weeks, various issues have meant I haven't had a chance to do much o/s-ing and everything has fallen by the wayside really!
Oh well must get back to it. Flat looks like a bomb's hit it and is in serious need of a clean. I did manage a shop the other day though so we've got food in for about a week, so even if the place is a complete mess at least we won't starve!!
Have a great day all!0 -
Morning.
Taplady- poor you-hope you feel better soon
Topsy- I'm going to do my floors later too, though in my case its one v large dog and his muddy pawprints.
Diva- love the idea of miniature fruit trees.
Hope anyone who is feeling rough improves soon.Nearly weekend, can't believe where the time goes.
I'm gonna make another cuppa in a minute, feel a bit chilly.
I had a soup night for tea last night, nobody complainedso may do that again.Did broc & cheese for DS2,and spicy chicken & tomato for the rest of us,done in the pressure cooker.Took about 5 mins ,as the stock was already done,I bunged Thriftladys frozen veg hash straight in,along with some passata, and chilli & lentils. Some left for our lunch today.I also made some enriched dough and made rolls in the Remoska which went down really well.In fact looking round they seem to have all gone.
Nessie- thanks for the tip about the Co-op steaks.I like their meat and usually stock up if its on offer- will have a look tomorrow.
Sunnyday- I read the thread in stages too, usually when I have a bit of a break for lunch or a drink.:)

Hello
I thought I'd say Hi as I read this daily thread so often I feel like I know you all!
Now I've got my own laptop and therefore the ability to spend more than 2 minutes at a time online before being booted off by my DH or DS1, I'm hoping you will accept me into your lovely friendly group.
My plan is to be more OS as we seem to be spending far too much money on things we don't need/eat so I'm hoping to gain some tips from you all and hopefully put the money left over each month towards our mortgage and a holiday, as with 2 special needs children I think we need one!
Plans for today are to bake some thumbprint cookies with the jar of chocolate spread lurking in the back of the cupboard and try to join the flylady thread in the hope of getting my house in order.
DH did offer me a cleaner but I chose to spend the money on a macbook instead, so time will tell if I come to regret the decision:D
Have a great day

Morning all. Have booked another doctors appointment, as pain in side getting worse, and wasn't happy with the locum doc a couple of days ago. Have checked and appointment is with a different doc!
Made marble traybake yesterday with DS, he really wanted to bake, and it was extremely tasty.
They've gone out to play in the snow as its suprisingly deep here.
NPM - enjoy room on the broom. We saw it at the Edinburgh festival last summer and it was really good.
Sunnyday - hope you find your paintbrushes soon!
Taplady - poor you, hope you feel better soon.
Hugs to anyone else that needs them.0
