Be v.v.cautious in doing this. Sounds to me like you've already been credit-checked. More credit checks in a short space of time could make things even worse. Equally it may just be this particular phone compny being very strict with their credit-scoring, but be careful.

Thanks ukmonkey. My credit rating is pretty bad and i don't want to make it any worse :(. Think i'd better hold off for now.

As a private hire driver myself, I just cant see MS co's doing assignments for them.

They are all self employed workers, and the cab companies just work as an agent, they are hardly likely to spend aload of money to MS their drivers

I reckon the local authorities would pay if they were to get pitched in the right way. The only snag is they have there own inspectors checking compliance.

I'm on about the local authorities paying to ensure the customer gets looked after, after all the service level of many taxi drivers (particularly the bigger towns and cities is really poor imho :)

Let's see if we can keep the new thread argument free!! I promise to at least TRY to sit on my hands rather than type sarcastic or rude replies!!!

There are lots and lots of threads, so sorry if I repeat something previously said. I am a Mystery Shopper by day, and I also work for Cybershop (GfK).

Not sure I can post a link as I am still a newbie and have been told off for it once today.

I use: cybershop.gfk.com. (there is no www)

You get e-mails to let you know there are new assignments, but I still advise checking daily. From my experience, they are mainly banks.

I did mystery shopping for a while. It is quite good fun but the pay isn't really very good when you consider everything that goes into it. It isn't just going to a shop for 10 minutes, obviously you need to get there and back, park etc and write up the results. I think that key is top try and do as many as possible all in one go.
