In fact given the standards that were applied to Angel13's post I'd say that anyone who has commented on any Retaileyes or Gapbuster assignment in any way shape or form has breached the terms of their agreements and I guess its time we closed this thread down!, as it would be up to Retaileyes to specify what was commercially sensitive, and the Gapbuster clause is do broad I doubt you could ask a query on an assignment without breaching it!

    ABAI:
"I agree that I will not discuss this project with other potential shoppers either personally or on the internet:"

    Retaileyes:
"Registered shoppers must not participate in divulging or sharing commercially sensitive information to other registered shoppers or via public forums such as internet forums or consumer discussion boards."

    Gapbuster:
"To not provide or otherwise make available any material in the websites in any form to any person other than employees, subcontractors and other agents (if any) without the written consent of GAPbuster Worldwide."

    Welcome to the MS thread.

I see you have contributed ( a few times ) earlier.

    The point is:

    1. If you can't even stick to the simple rules of MSing how on earth are you going to get on on in the big (real ) world?

2 MS Co's set (IMHO ) idiotic "secrecy" rules, but to be considered as a serious shopper you should stick by them.

    3. GAP and RE thrive on posters on this thread because most are inexperienced and do not realise they are being taken for a ride. Therefore they let indescressions pass.

    4. ABAi and others are more serious, so they do NOT allow indescressions pass and have been known to close down threads.

Feel free to gossip, doesn't bother me. :D

    How wonderfully condescending:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Glad to see you've appointed yourself as the arbiter of what is acceptable to Gap & RE (I only took those as examples as I thought they were odd on favourite that more posters were or had at some time been registered with those 2 companies than any others.)

Not disagreeing with your points re: keeping confidentiality just reiterating what I said in the earlier post if ABAI are likely to close this thread due to a poster saying they have a new supermarket client(The original post by Angel13), then 'theoretically' its an odds on certainty they'll close it due to the google link in the opening post, as to be honest you might as well post an actual list of ABAI's clients.

just a quick q...I'm new to all this so not sure how picky they all are. See some new assignments for a certain supermarket...details are very brief, just says "conduct visit on your own" - so would a baby in a sling (carrying him on my body) probably violate this? would be a pity as I could do about 10 shops in one day

To be honest if your baby makes a noise they will say either you or the the staff member was distracted, best to to visit alone if they say alone. hth numps

There is a "remember me" tick box by the right of the LOGIN button, tick that.

It works until you clear all cookies, as I often do it before logging into cashback sites to avoid problems with cashback transactions.

Most sites have session cookies and expire after a certain time, say half an hour for really popular traffic heavy sites.

You can also set your browser to open a number of pages on startup. PM me if you need help with it.

  • How on earth do you all manage to do the fast food jobs? I'm in total awe of you. I did one this week after a break of a year due to a nasty experience in rough area. I prepared ahead, amde sure I know what I was doing, and the timimgs etc, got my phone ready for the stopwatch function. It was really hard to press the buttons and talk at the same time lol. I thought I had got it spot on, but when I put the exact timings in the report threw a wobbly! I solved it but it meant I had to tweak the timings (by 10 seccs) to get the report to be accepted, then I found out that I was given the wrong receipt when I got home, it did not show what I had ordered. So thats it for me, no more fast food ones. I think its a big ask to give more than 2 timings. Sometime I really think they are asking the wrong questions. So well done all those who complete fast food shops, I for one will not be going back there again. :T

    Hi

I have spoken to several of the companies regarding this, ESA is a definate no no spoke to the supervisor there and she said I would be "taken off the list" if I was found to be taking a child with me......
That surprises me as they do not mention anywhere in their briefs about not taking a child with you. I have taken my children to some ESA jobs and think if they feel so strongly about it then they need to tell people, not expect them to ask themselves. Given that I've done over 100 jobs for them in the last 6 months, I think I am a pretty reliable shopper, but am not psychic!

really? Like cte said there is nothing in the brief. I've been doing jobs all week for them with my LO and he hasn't distracted me at all. He's either been asleep or just playing with his toys. I made sure to go when he wasn't hungry or tired so unlikely to get grumpy. :)

I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • I have searched recent posts and can't find a recent post about this so think I'm safe to ask - is anyone else still waiting on catalogue payments from ABA-i?

Did a job right at the beginning of last month and am still waiting for payment.
