I've done 9 'broth' visits today, only to find that 1 of the sites has been demolished, and 2 of them have changed to another company! Oh well.

The one that had been demolished brought back some memories - it was just round the corner from my old high school, we used to go there for lunch everyday - a whole queue of us at the deli counter buying 1 or 2 individual slices of meat to go in 1 or 2 single rolls that we got from the bakery dept, all rounded off with a can of pop and a mars bar (or sometimes an apple). Those were the good old days!

all abai have done is put it on on the app form for each client. over the last few weeks each time i have clicked on a logo to search a company it has brought up my initial app form and there are new 'yes/no' questions you have to tick, one is that you wont disuss it on the internet. do that then press save and its back to normal. thb we dont talk bout them much on here anyway except alerts and i will still post them! :) just will be bit more vague and perhaps not respond to all the pm's i get about 'who is the client you just did an alert from?' if i dont recognise them from here

just a quick q...I'm new to all this so not sure how picky they all are. See some new assignments for a certain supermarket...details are very brief, just says "conduct visit on your own" - so would a baby in a sling (carrying him on my body) probably violate this? would be a pity as I could do about 10 shops in one day

    Hello missus ;)

I've done all my jobs this week with the little man - sometimes in sling, sometimes in pushchair. I have done a mixture of covert shops, exit interviews and overt audits in travel agent, pharmacy & pub. The only one I've turned down is bookies for obvious reasons ;)

None of my briefs have said about children except the pub one today that said any child would need to eat a meal (but as he's 6m I didn't apply it to him).

You can always ring and ask :)

depending on who the company is you might still get paid!
I visited a store that had shut down yesterday and they said I would still get paid. :D

I used to do that when I worked near a supermarket cos I hate shop bought sandwiches so used to buy 2 slices of meat, a small french stick, a slice of mexican cheese, a huge bag of crisps and a chocolate bar EVERY DAY! No wonder I put a stone on! :o

Exactly, please can we all be sensible???? Angel's post did not disclose who the new client was or give away any info that was top secret. Sorry if upsets all the big bosses on here who seem to think they are in charge (how many are there now....? ) but if Angel's post is going to be censured then there is no point posting anything because most posts are asking about/discussing jobs.
It is about time that the heavy mob got a life and chilled out a bit. Angel has contributed a lot to this thread and is sensitive with what she posts.

Oh yes, have done 2 with little man as they had no details about children - however this one said "one your own", so wondering how pedantic a baby on my chest would be.

Also struggling with figuring out how to add clients on ABAi as everytime I click through via the link in the OP, it just says my username is taken and to pick a new one. Not sure if this is violating rules of the thread, so can delete this bit if necessary.

I believe the info you need for adding clients is in the first posts.. there are some Co's that specify you must go on your own, I would take this to mean exactly that, pedantic is a great description for some MS co's...:)

Next to your username it says select - click on this and not proceed at the bottom.

Am new to this thread myself but it does feel very heavy handed and I do go on a number of threads on here. At the end of the day it's an open forum, anyone can post what they want, when they want, if they are breaching contracts its between them and the company.

Apologies, but does the header of this thread state not to mention the clients name... since when have we been unable to mention the Co. name??? I am with owlet on this.. angel didn't mention a client name so why bite her head off? she was following the rules of the forum and didn't give out any confidential details. I think constantly moving the goalposts is getting confusing...

It's about time the mentally challenged realised that in theory any MS company that thinks their confidentiality is being compromised could CLOSE THIS THREAD

I doubt it would happen but for the majority of newbies on here to be denied a useful source of info by a minority of dumb*$$e$ would be a crying shame.

I suggest some people read their original contracts and take heed.

Not a boss, nor in charge, just using common sense.
