i think it depends when the deadline is and who applies. sometimes i have waited days other times its hours. think they prefer to give it to people that have done other jobs for them that they know are reliable so if you are the only person thats applied they may wait to see if anyone 'better' comes along (no offence!) then will give you it if they don't.

tern is the same, took days and then i was rejected and then after a few jobs i was accepted in 30 mins this morning.

if you dont get it, carry on applying as most jobs have a 6 month wait before you can do it again so next month they may have no-one! think thats how i got my jobs with react, tern and bare!

I wonder if I was clocked today when I asked for a receipt!
They offered to hold the door open for me whilst I had my hands full - not sure!

oh and on second job when I revealed myself the woman said she knew it. Well, if you knew it why didn't you do everything you were supposed to!!!

I have applied for loads and not got one job yet I have had jobs pending for days with React and then receive an email to say its gone to another shopper. Until they let me do my first job with them, how can I build up a rep with them?

I hope you have signed up to loads of company's as you have more chance of getting some work.

Can everyone else get in to Bare ok? I'm trying to log in but it keeps bringing up something about an error and to please email the error message to them. No email address to send it to is shown though... Very organised

I had the same problem but got in eventually....another company I never seem to get any work from :rotfl:

You need to follow the brief with what you buy. With TNS you can buy extra items and you get reimbursed (up to the spending limit). You only get reimbursed for what you spend.

I can't even get a car one, even when they emailed me to ask if I could do a local one lol!

They do seem to be quite exacting with their shopper requirements: some types of jobs get allocated to me very readily and others not! I found that they allocated a lot more to me after they started ringing me with urgent work (which I accepted). Also, I don't know if Bare attach importance to job ratings, but I suspect that they might.
