Shock horror, I got a reply from re. the chicken jobs. It seems I've been sacked from them without ever having completed the training, never mind a job. Now that's some achievement, no?
Seriously, they said they run regular analysis on " various data, such as scoring, demographics, shopper details, etc." and this has affected my shopper status, meaning I will never be able to do a chicken job. I'm perplexed, but hey, at least I know now.
(They did reassure me that it was "no reflection on my integrity or person" though. Just in case I was worried about that :rotfl:)
I wonder if it has something to do with rescheduling / cancelling jobs or something like that...0 -

I too have hardly anything added onto RE and I am in the NW too. Getting paranoid now !!! Just the same jobs that have been there for ages. I usually get most of my work from RE too.0 -
I have just been assigned my first job for react. Would somebody be able to kindly explain the 'special expenses' to me.
Not sure how i would claim a jouney of 10 miles (there and back)
Thanks in advanceI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

10 miles x 17p per mile is £1.70 and that is what I would claim.0 -

When you come to input your expenses, the form asks you if you incurred any mileage, parking, public transport or other expenses. You can then put in expenses up to the maximum amount allowed. So travel at Xppm would be £0.X x 10. You can also usually claim parking up to a specified amount.

ETA: There's usually directions from Google maps on your job page: I'd take the mileage from this as I expect that's what's used to check your expenses0 -

Special expenses are things like car-parking or, if you don't have a car, public transport. I also claim for Dartford tunnel tolls if I go up into Essex for a job. We’ve had to remove your signature. I've had a few added on RE today - sandwich shop, bookies and pubs. Im in the NW
After applying for 14 pharmacy jobs and getting 5 of them, I noticed 7 had been re-released so applied again. I know have 12 pharmacy jobs and a sandwich shop to do by Friday! Not bad for my first week
but my printer is playing up so off to the library to print stuff at 15p a sheet :eek:0 -

Yes, I claim bridge tolls if I've paid them too.
I've also split additional costs over mutliple jobs if it went over the max allowance and not had a problem. E.g. when parking was £x and max allowance was less than this - I have split over 3 jobs and got the full amount reimbursed.0 -
A bit late to mention it now, but to be honest I don't think we should discuss exact mileage allowances/special expense allowances so specifically in the thread. By mentioning what one company is prepared to offer, we're essentially putting it in jeopardy - no different from discussing fees.0
